This game was just out of this world, I don't think anyone expected, at this "game as a service" era, to see a game made with such love and that offers so much for cheaper than any of the generic triple A games being made by giant corporations. This one was made by gamers for gamers. Respect.

& it all began with an announcement trailer in 2019 showcasing alien octopuses taking over the world...what a time is has been!

I met Borislav at this year's GDC finally and he told me my cover of Down by the River was the first cover of the song, which I never realized! What a journey it's been Larian, since early access dropped I've been so enchanted by the game and as a fellow D&D nerd and game developer, you have all accomplished something truly special and impressive with BG3. Wishing you all boundless success for your future projects, and I'll be anxiously awaiting more music to cover!

Baldur's Gate 3 changed my life. Thank you for the amazing games, Larian

I am 60 years old and had never played a game like BG3 before. I was surprised, shocked, a little embarrased and then totally hooked. I got stuck in Grymforge but the online community came to my rescue with advice and hints so that I eventually got that bastard's head! Unfortunately I got to the part where I had to decide whether to help or kill Orpheus and just couldn't make up my mind so I have never finished it. I have played it through to that point about 4 times but that decision wrecks me. I have always had trouble making decisions and was so pleased with myself for getting to that point when there were so many different ways to do things and I had done them without too much angst but that last decision was just too much for me. It didn't help watching YouTube videos cos that just gave me more things to think about and made the decision even harder. I have the music on in my car, it is so beautiful but I have put the game to one side for my own sanity. I do wish I was younger and healthier though because that cosplay looks like so much fun.
