The 370z cops way too much slack for being old, its a raw driving experience which is what its meant to be.
-
I think it actually sounds quite good, at least comparing it to some of the other turbo'd cars around these days
-
This car gets a lot of crap in America because it’s old but its still a gem

Over the last year I’ve watched so many videos about the 370z....so I finally bought one. 4 weeks in and I haven’t stopped smiling. I have a 2017 GT in white. Never owned a sports car before and thought if I don’t do it now I never will. Last 3 years been driving an automatic so getting used to the gears again. The bit of road noise doesn’t bother me,feel more connected. Unlikely I’d ever see 0 _ 60 in 5.3 seconds as you’d have to be pretty slick with the gear changes. Currently getting around 30 to the gallon. Sticks to the road like sh~t to a blanket. Am I happy? God yes

I personally love the 370z. It has the makings of being a future classic. I’m going to miss cars like these.

I own a 2013 automatic nissan 370z touring. I did not regret getting a manual because the automatic is really fast

Listen most of the people that complain about the car, are not good enough of a Driver ,to extract its performance.
-
nice exhaust noise , best one ive heard in a while from a new car
-
Damn I always thought the engine sound was one of the best out there! I love it

I just finished breaking in my 2019 370Z sport coupe with 6-speed manual transmission and so I decided to take it for some spirited driving in the hills north of San Francisco in Marin County. The car handled like a dream, thanks in part to those great 19" Bridgestone Potenza tires. The steering was very precise and predictable with minimal body roll as I powered through twisty S-turns and abrupt changes in road camber that didn't unsettle the suspension. I found out that the suspension is set-up with a slight understeer, probably for safety reasons, and so I might go with a set of stiffer anti-roll bars that are adjustable so that I can dial in neutral to a slight oversteer. The engine has gobs of torque that isn't peaky, as you often find in high-performance engines, which is probably due to Nissan's VVEL technology. It's hard to lug this engine in too high of a gear because the torque curve is nearly flat across the RPM range, coming on strong just above idle.

I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL SO MUCH been getting great Z content as an original 350z HR owner and now a 370Z owner i agree with your opinions and im really loving how much your channel seems to be growing with this great nissan content

Great review Neil, you looked like you really enjoyed the drive 👍

Great Video as always... I can't really tell why but I do like the 350z more based on how it looks. But I am sure you are right it drives more refined. The sound of the engine was pretty good in the video! Greetings from Bavaria

Exhaust + Tires + Front Swaybar = a BILLION times better 370z.

New to the channel been through the 350z videos thanks for all of the advice I'm off out to buy one

People complain too much about the 370z without realizing it was made in 2009 and can still whoop a lotta ass today. If you can drive or have the 7AT, you can keep up with a lot of modern V8s. Also it offers amazing handling or raw fun that most cars dont. Plus, with the proper NA stock block mods you can hit 330-370whp (yes its been done with the proper mods n tuner several times).... or for fairly cheap now (5-12k) you can single or twin turbo and push up to 700whp reliably with Z1, Admin, or RZG tuning.

I’ve had mine about 6 weeks now, bought it for my 30th. Grey GT spec manual. Absolutely adore it. Even if the lack of refinement can be a bit wearing when you’ve had a long shift and just want to get home. But then on a day off, it is the sort of car that’ll get you out of bed just to go for a play.

through the comps speakers (sony x11) the 370 sounds amazing like one of the best cars ive heard through my laptop

"A new place for your shopping to hit you from" Love the car and love the review , Cheers

What is the point of the battery voltage in the gauges? They could’ve just added oil pressure/coolant temperature instead.
