Hey party people! thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house happenings style of vlog! It was a little special because the kids had a half day at school and every day is a great day to make it a special day so I figured I would throw together a super cute Ice Cream Bar for them to attack when they got home and finished their homework! I got the stuff off of amazon for the most part and got the inspiration for the ice cream board from Instagram, where else! I also shared some fall food, I made fall inspired dishes for dinner some pumpkin pasta and apple cider chicken! It was a great switch up! Always fun to try something new, and then I cleaned out my fridge, did some laundry, cleaned my pantry out and... meal planned! I forgot I meal planned! Happy I did that! Comparison is the killer of joy. You're the mother of five. Cut yourself some slack and don't compare yourself to other mothers. You are so great with all your kids. You focus on them and building this wonderful relationship with them. Alex is always there for his family, too. You two are amazing parents.

My easiest teens were my hardest babies! I have 4 children. 2 boys and 2 girls in that order! I hope you have easy teens with all your babies! It truly goes so fast. My oldest is now 32 and my baby is almost 19, and I have 6 grandchildren! Love them beyond measure but wish time was not a thief! Love your channel too, your amazing!

as a texan, i can wholeheartedly say that blue bell is the best ice cream out there! their homemade vanilla is the best vanilla flavor there is in my opinion. growing up, we had an ice cream vending machine in our elementary school in the cafeteria and i remember saving up enough coins to buy myself a blue bell cookie cone. great memories. life was so simple back then😂

Great recipes! I like to keep plastic placemats in the fridge to make it easier to clean and I put them in the dishwasher.

I think you do a wonderful job making your children feel comfortable enough to talk to you. I think the preteen behavioral issues stem from not being heard, accepted and understood. You embrace and celebrate all the changes 👍🏻
