I'm 83 and love my 3yr old Halos. My ball striking has improved and scored my age 4 times this year. Three of my golf buddies have just switched to Halos. At our age, who cares what they look like if they help your game.

Had my leg amputated 7 years ago, tried to get back into golf again and could not hit a ball at all , spoke to a friend who is a pro and he borrowed a set of these from a member and gave me a lesson, went straight on ebay and bought a set of the iron and my game is better then ever, have even bought the driver and fairway woods as well.

I have a new set of these. Been using for a month now. I LOVE THEM! They have improved my game so much! I use to do I everything I could to avoid having to hit an iron. Now, I'm excited at every shot opportunity I get to use one. My Son said to me, "Dad, you are actually golfing" and "hitting golf shots". I'm so thankful for what Cleveland produced. I'm 51 and couldn't be happier with my UGLY purchase! :)

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder Alex, I’ve been playing an earlier version of these for several years and they transformed my game. I’m 75 and a very average golfer, in my opinion they are made for folks just like me and perhaps a lot younger. And sorry but I love the look of them!!
  • Alex, we’re talking about us regular players! Like a woman it might not be the prettiest but is it nice, fun to play with and can it cook. It will last longer than a beautiful blade that treats you like 💩.

As soon as I can’t generate enough speed to get my Mizuno’s to work a set like these will go in the bag. It’s about helping people keep playing and enjoying the game. No one who’s gaming these is trying to turn pro or even win the club championships. It’s just about keeping you in the game imo.
  • I use the hibore turbos, since I bought them handicap has gone from 12 to 5, if you're not using the most forgiving clubs then you are costing yourself shots every round. To me my hibores are beautiful

Agree that you need to test this club at a much slower swing speed which would represent the player that the club to targeted for.

I love all my Cleveland clubs. If you only play once a week or less Halo XL are a game changer.

We should thank Cleveland for creating such great clubs for us human players. Love the sound and looks!

I never ever heard anyone ever talk about an ugly hammer. It’s the result that counts. Not the looks but you will learn this by the time you reach 60+

Back in the 17th century, 2 Englishmen, John Stuart Mill and Jeremy Bentham, formulated a philosophy called Utilitarianism: that is, an object or process should be judged by how useful it is. Personally, I ascribe to this philosophy and I use the Wilson LP2 irons which are quite similar to these Clevelands and give me a better game than my old MacGregor Tourneys ever did. So, use what works best for you and that will make it beautiful to you.
  • I have the prior model the Launcher HB's...made me fall back in love with golf!! Love them!
  • @macgriffiths9241
Alex, I reckon the players these clubs are aimed at couldn't give a fig whether you can shape shots with them just that you can get some distance and keep them 8n play
  • @alestev24
The beauty about these types of irons from Cleveland (ever since first generation) is that they play like normal irons. No mega high flight, no mega low spin. They are only easier to hit.
  • @user-di6kx8ns1y
Tried these at the pro shop and bought, up graded the grips to 3/4 over. I love these clubs.
  • @bazzer1971
They make a great option in the long irons. I game 4,5,6 of the previous versions pretty much as my hybrids.
  • @jcombs2266
As a newer golfer (maybe 50 rounds), who is still trying to make contact, I'd play them. You say it's ugly. I say, if it's easy to hit, give me a set. I don't give a rat's rectum what anyone thinks of my clubs. I love your videos, keep'em coming! But don't be a golf snob: fat, chunky, and ugly clubs need love too! 🤣🤪🤣🤪 If you no longer need or want the club, send it to me... please!
  • Wonderfull clubs, been using them for some time. Just got the SW and GW love them...
