Hi guys. This is one of my favourites by far! Let me know what other retro icon you'd like to try 😁 enjoy!

I was too busy raising three kids in the 80s and never played video games. I've heard the name but never played it, so I didn't get your game references. Still, it was a cute project and it was fun to see you so excited. I might find a game my grandkids, or great-grands, like and see if I can make a quilt out of one of those. Thank for the idea.
  • That was awesome! You just made my 80's kid heart so happy! 🤣❤️
  • I love this quilt idea. Why I never did anything like this when I was playing stamp quilt or planed patchwork I don’t know. Two things I would do differently : 1. I would draw a grid on to the stability fabric. 2. Before using the zigzag stitch for detailing and quilting . I would do a quarter inch seam for endurance. That I still a cool wall art piece.

I love everything about this! I had to laugh when you talked about making sure every row had a black square so the line wouldn't disappear. I wanted to make a Tetris scarf and had the exact same logic when I was designing it 😂😂

How fun and easy! I've seen a lot of Tetris quilts but never made this way. It's great for a beginners and you don't have to worry about corners matching perfectly! Applique is so forgiving 😊
  • Just go in with permanent black marker and color in where the white shows in the zig zags. Cool quilt.

This little project, and this size - would be perfect for those Cat Carriers, in which you take your cat to the vet! or little pet beds! My very first Video game was..... Pong!... wow,....just dated myself!
