This is definitely an accurate interpretation. You know the scene where morphine is next to a squirrel and we all see them run around all the time. A metaphor for how drug addicts chase the feeling. Also like the scene with the dog. In my experience dogs can sense a good person and Rue is good deep down drugs just change you. They better give Zendaya every award ever.

Everyone did an AMAZING performance!! 👏🏻👏🏻 This episode had me triggered! 😢 If you've ever struggled with addiction, the madness Rue went thru is VERY ACCURATE. I've been sober for over 10 yrs. I put myself in some dangerous situations. I'm grateful I didn't end up dead. 🙏🏻 This episode IS SUCH A PAINFUL ACCURATE DEPICTION OF HOW LOW U CAN GET. Zendaya deserves an Emmy for this performance. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
