Guys it's not that hard! Just keep your fragrances at room temperature in a dark cupboard (most cupboards unless they have lights inside). I keep my fragrances in their original boxes and just take them out when I want to use them. That way not much heat or air can get to them. On top of that, always keep the cap on and you will see your perfumes lasting until they run out! If you must display them (which I do not recommend), keep them in a room with a temperature between 45 and 65 degree F. Make sure there is very little to no fluctuation of the temperature. Make sure all of the fragrances on display have their caps on and keep them away from sunlight. The room must not be humid and avoid having much water vapor in the air. As well as this, keep the fragrances at a constant temperature. Therefore, no one should store fragrances at all in the bathroom. I still do not recommend this but it should help preserve the life of your fragrances if you do choose to display them.
  • The best content on fragrance storage ever , in depth , to the point , well done

This video actually helped me a lot. I used to store mine in the bathroom above the sink. No cupboards no nothing and they were pretty exposed to temp fluctuations. From now on, I'll store them in a drawer in my room which is dark, cool and no sunlight can get to it. Thanks man!

Great tips. And I love how you have the topics listed and the time in which you speak on them listed in the show more info area. If all videos had that we can get right to the information and learn a lot quicker lol. Big up. Never thought I'd be so interested in cologne / fragrance after having just started lol

Excellent video, Cody. This is a TOP 5 fragrance video in my opinion. It took me years of damaging my fragrances before figuring this out. Thanks for bringing this topic to light... LOL!!

Great video Doc, as always! Love your reviews. I keep my frags in a file cabinet in the boxes where the direct sunlight never hits the room. The temp in the room stays about 68 degrees year round, never had a frag go bad. Keep up the good work.

I've kept my fragrances in a closed dresser in my bedroom with blackout curtains, where in the summer I'm using AC set at 80-82, rest of the year, and winter, 72-78 (I prefer to be a little warm than a little cold) and Ive never had an issue in the last 8 years Ive been collecting, with my temps fluctuating between seasons, from mid 70s to low 80s. Never had one go bad yet, and my oldest 3 are now 8 years old.

Great subject for discussion. I own over 600 fragrances and I take every precaution with regards to their upkeep. I store mine in my bedroom which has blackout curtains that are always closed. I keep the room at 70 degrees year round, and I always have a fan on. I always keep my fragrances in their boxes. I like your idea of a wine refrigerator, I am going to have to look into that. Great video.
