I prefer the OLD. I just got 2024 4Runner LTD 4X4 with $55k. It's absolutely a tank. It is my dream ride I had saved money for 3 years

The outgoing 5th gen. will go down in history as THE BEST 4-Runner of all time.

5th gen 4Runner for sure, super reliable, outstanding design and the best V6 that will be a hard to find in coming years

I recently purchased a 2024 4Runner in the TRD Sport trim and absolutely love it. It has way more features than I will ever use and I love driving it.

I am keeping my 2021 TRD PRO LUNAR ROCK

nothing wrong with old school. who needs a giant flat screen tv in the front windshield. the new land cruiser is not the same one as days gone by

Traded my 2016 SR5 Premium for a 2023 TRD ORP five months ago. I too am old school and like the simplicity of the 5th Gen. $51,700 after a $3K dealer discount. Many options inclusing KDSS. I love it.

I prefer the old. I just ordered a 24 limited.

Thank you for this spot on review! When I saw the photos of the new 2025 4Runner, I was excited. It is really a beautiful truck, but now that I'm old and retired, I should probably keep my 2016 Trail Premium model. I bought her new, she's paid for, and she has less than 11k miles on her. Thanks for this justification!

I currently drive a 2021 4Runner SR5 4x4. Very reliable and simple vehicle. I'm going to trade it in for a new 2024 model, so I will have the last of the 5th generation of 4Runner... best ever ...

Great video! What 5th gen year do you think is the best value for the features you get at this point?
  • @g.fortin3228
Love my old one.. I'll wait a long while.. may get one eventually but going to try to keep the old one till it's .. well, older. Good insight vid.

Since I'm old school, I prefer things that are old school. 🙂
  • Great show Shari 😊 ! I would take the tried and true all the way . 😊
  • Many 5th gen owners would like it even more primitive. I do like the new one, it looks great. The drivetrain is used in many models, which is a good sign. I’ll be curious to see if the MTS works better, and the other capabilities are also improved. Would also like to see a head to head with the LandCruiser.
