Good stuff. A couple of tips that have helped me in soloQ (currently MGE): - Learn how to use good spawns to get to places fast. Lower level players generally don't understand the importance of spawn-based timings. - Learn utility with the focus of getting map control. A window smoke on Mirage for instance is basically guaranteed mid control on T side at lower levels.

Tip for peeps under DMG - Even if your aim sucks, if you have 1 friend and ideally at least 2 to play with, learn some smokes, learn some mollies, some flashes on every map you play and even 2 or 3 man setups on T side will be enough to confuse lower rank players to a point where you don't have to win skill aim battles because you'reputting yourself in a position of advantage where they have to take the fight, not you. On CT communication is key. Here use angles that give you advantage and remember not to repeek on the same exact angle after a kill because you will be traded quickly. It's better to kill one person and fall back than to get traded back. Even if you give the T's a position you have more manpower to retake. Doing the above, even if you lack in aim, will probably get you through gold nova and MG.

Voo: Static aiming is something I see people do far too often. Me: Oh fuck he's talking about me

I went from lvl 3 to level 7 in like a week when I did these 3 things: 1. Get 240hz monitor 2. Use AWP as frequently as possible 3. Never be toxic no matter what. When I have "difficult" teammates, I mute them and focus on myself.

All solid advice, especially holding not necessarily off angles but trying to time their movement on your peeks, nice vid

After being stuck in SEM since 2017, I managed to fly up ranks to MG2 in just over last 4months. I play solo Q, some tips for you guys are - Stop playing Dust 2 & Mirage. I only play Inferno & Nuke. Use off angles on CT side, entry frag on T side. If you have bad aim, always use M4A1s, you get easy kills instead of trying to pick Ak and miss all your shots.
  • I love these videos. This style you are recommending really reminds me of the style i used to try to implement in order to have impact on my games even though i was consistently the worst aimer in the stack with a lot of extra stuff as well.

Currently level 1 faceit with 500 matches played, all soloqued. Voo heavily emphasizing that getting your mechanics and fundamentals mastered or down to the point you can win the round most of the time for your team is 100% EVERYTHING! I obviously made the mistake given of how many matches I've played and still being a low level, all this time i tried to be mediocre at everything with countless hours learning smokes, nades, mollies, going for certain plays that I didn't have the mechanics to execute well which was more counter intuitive and it costs me most of the rounds and games. Sucks that it took me long enough to realize this but sometimes it do be like that. Just gotta get the fundamentals down first then move on to the next steps!
