We are liking this because of JBP, just to make it clear.

Jordan: This is not my opinion. These are just the facts. Interviewer: I don't want to hear facts. I want to hear your opinion so that I can accuse you of having a terrible opinion.
  • Every interview I watch with Jordan he ends up explaining the interviewers argument better than they do themselves

In every single one of these podcasts, they always seem to want to "get" him on some point, yet they just give up and move on to the next question. This man is truly wonderful. 👏🏽
  • Wow this really hard to listen to, it's pretty obvious that she is attempting to trap him into some clickbait statement to add to her bias cause. I'm amazed at the temperament and patience of this man.
  • @rupertshean
She's not actively listening, she's just thinking what she's going to say next to catch him out

I am I my sixties and writing a parenting book. This man has caused me to rethink much of my work! I’m grateful! 💚

Dr. Peterson is probably the most misunderstood man walking earth. My initial analysis is that it must be exhausting to continually be on the defense; however, after some thought it might not be as strenuous because he doesn’t have to remember to play a character. He simply shows up as himself, and shares information he’s learned over decades of study. People don’t realize he RARELY EVER gives his personal opinion on anything (unless he’s persistently asked to share), his thoughts are based off scientific data and research. I’m always inspired after hearing him speak, God bless you Dr. Peterson!

The most frustrating thing about these types of interviews is that the interviewer has no genuine interest in understanding JBP and his views. That’s why I prefer people like Joe Rogan or Dave Rubin who have a genuine curiosity about the people they interview.

“I’m not interviewing clinical literature, I’m interviewing you.” What a stupid thing to say to a scientist.
  • I met JP last month in Cincinnati (after an entire year of waiting). I've never been happier in my life. As soon as it was my turn to get a picture with him for the "meet and greet", anxiety hit me hard. It's so weird meeting someone you admire. I've listened to every one of his debates, speeches, and audio books, and he's genuinely changed my life. Anyways, it was my turn to walk up to him for a picture and I got major butterflies. I looked at him and choked up a little. I said "my heart is pounding so hard. You are my personal hero Dr. Peterson." He smiled, looked into my eyes, and asked what my name was. I told him and he shook my hand and said "It's a pleasure to meet you, Peter." His speech that night was incredible, insightful, and downright beautiful. The man radiates warmth, kindness, and compassion. I'm so glad I got a chance to meet the person I admire most in this world. He genuinely makes me want to become my best self.

Among the 12 rules for life - IF a cat comes up to on the street, pat it. I do that without have read this book. It's a wonderful feeling, actually. A friendly soul, small and vulterable, comes up and gives you affection, greets, implicitly trusts you etc. It's enough to make my heart melt. One such cat came into my garage. She was emaciated, with long matted gray fur, but with big and alert eyes. I was leaving the garage and she walked with me. I went out by the side door, closed it, and then she stopped. She turned around and slunk into a hole in the siding. Each day after that, I put out a bowl of chicken, and later proper cat food. My little "ghost" came out to greet me every morning outside the garage, and ate her food. Then one morning she came out with three tiny little kittens, and presented them to me. After that, I took mom and her babies into my family. There she and her kittens lived out their lives. We have one of those kittens left. He is now almost 16 years old. It all started with a lost and desperate soul trusting me with her life, and it lead to so much joy. Follow the rule, and pat a strange cat if it comes up to you. If you are able, adopt it.
  • If Peterson started a masterclass in having patience with obnoxious people, I would pay anything to join that.
  • Can we officially canonize JBP as the internet’s “Patron Saint of Heavenly Patience”??? He deserves it after this one.
  • Wild that Jordan is having such a complex and high level conversation while also doodling some stars on his note pad. He has an extremely well developed landscape of the ideas that they are discussing and excellent identification of persona that he can do both simultaneously, while still contributing to the conversation and helping the interviewer walk through her arguments. Excellent podcast, btw.

Her complete lack of humility and respect while interviewing someone who is so clearly superior to her is what (to me) is so shocking about this interview. Her behavior (trying to catch him and then casually changing the subject when she has obviously failed) was abhorrent. It’s also fascinating to me that so many people try to bring this guy down. My life has completely changed for the better as a direct result of him.
  • @youen1821
I just cant believe how he doesnt lose his cool during these interviews. Its unbelievable
  • @DrDouble007
Can we just acknowledge that Jordan Peterson is drawing stars and circles in his notebook all while destroying this rude interviewer
  • @terrordude11
The patience and composure of this man speaks volumes past what he already speaks. As I need to work on myself I wouldn't be able to sit for very long while someone criticized my lifes work, views, and bombarded me with questions in an attempt to "get" the interviewed. As well as when the questions are answered in a logical and balanced way the interviewing switches to another topical question when they aren't "winning" the opinionated questioning. JBP keep going strong
  • Peterson is brilliant at patiently explaining to the woke world what we all fundamentally know to be true. What is amazing is that that has become necessary.
