Greenup Kentucky Native Kyle Fields set foot to Nashville 11 years ago, working hard at Cintas in the daytime as a delivery driver and trying his best to get his songs heard in whatever Honky Tonk bar would have him during the night hours. He has became a great friend of mine over the years and has been busting his tail playing the Broadway Strip in Nashville the last half a decade or more, hoping to pay the bills and catch a break(sometimes playing live music up to 7 - 8 hours a day). In a world of social media vitality and instant gratification, he has chose to do it the old fashion way; to keep bread on the table through a tip jar, like many of the classic american legends. He is as down to earth as they come, with some of my favorite collections of self written songs that remind you of that old time country sound we all love (check out my personal favorite song of his, “Heart Of Stone”).

Anyhow, I encourage you to take time to peal through his catalog of songs and help a brother out, he wanted me to put this live performance together to help him get started on booking for this coming 2024 calendar year, he is looking to get off Broadway and into you hometown watering holes and venues, so feel free to reach out:

Hair as dark as coal dust and eyes bluer than the sea She’s about the prettiest thing that I ever did see Wears Tony lamas with her sun dress and she’ll take a sip of shine But come Sunday morning she’ll be singing old rugged cross with the choir Make me higher than a mountain top Think about you I don’t stop You bring me sunshine when it’s raining I fell for you like crazy Oh my Appalachian lady She got brains she got beauty fix a mean home cooked meal She ain’t no thief but a heart she will steal Her Middle name came from her grandmama She prays for her daddy and all her kin She still listens to Dolly and Mrs.Loretta Lynn Make me higher than a mountain top Think about you I don’t stop You bring me sunshine when it’s raining I fell for you like crazy Oh my Appalachian lady Make me higher than a mountain top Think about you I don’t stop You bring me sunshine when it’s raining I fell for you like crazy Oh my Appalachian Lady
