"They've probably, captured or at least there's images of several hundred Russian troops who have been kind of caught up in this as prisoners of war."

Russia's failure to halt Ukraine's incursion into Russia will cause 'doubts' in the Kremlin as Ukraine takes prisoners and land in Russia's Kursk region, RUSI's Director of Military Sciences Matthew Savill tells Kate Gerbeau on Frontline.

  • The Kremlin's hypocrisy in this situation is both amusing and nauseating at the same time.
  • @EdwardRLyons
Of course, this is NOT a Ukrainian invasion of Kursk Oblast. It's just a Special Military Operation.

I am having a difficult time understanding Putin's comment that Ukraine's attack at Kursk is a "large scale provocation". Russia attacked the Ukraine 2 1/2 years ago, was that a "provocation"? Not its war! Why is Putin surprised?

Hold a referendum and announce the reults in tonights Zelensky update ? Sounds fair to me . The Ukrainian Oblast of Kursk !

Kursk is historically Ukrainian. Just as East Karelia is historically Finnish.

Putin will have no choice but to withdraw troops from Ukraine. Either way Russia should pull all troops out of Ukraine immediately.

Russia wanted a buffer. Ukraine is providing them one, in Russia

Supporting Ukraine’s success is Europe’s best security

Ukraine captured the distribution hub for natural gas from Russia to the rest of Europe. A bargaining chip.

I don't understand how "experts" give so much credit to Russia after almost 3 years of looking at a ragtag army.
  • It's not an incursion. 135km area in 3 days and done by Ukraine troops who have heavy arms and drone support. Russia's response hasn't stopped them and they are moving forward.

Ukraine has not been having a bad year! 😂😂😂 They have been dominating the battle. The only reason Russia has gained any ground at all is because they are willing to use meatwave tactics and lose thousands of soldiers per month. & still they have barely captured anything with 500,000+ losses of their russian military
  • @fv5855
Ukraine is Now 38 Kilometers into Russia ................💪🇺🇦AFU in Kursk region broke through two lines of defense, 👀 22km to Kursk NPP and 38 km from border, The Entire World is Laughing at Putin as his supposed 2 nd best army is getting HUMILIATED by the 30 th rated Ukraine 😀
  • @axlslak
i think we should award the russian army with being second. they seem to be great at that. second best army in ukraine. second best navy in the black sea. second best army in mali. second best army in russia. at some point, russia has to stop. its getting ridiculous.
  • I wonder if Putin regrets opening another front and now Ukraine has responded in kind.
  • @horseman6437
The incursion isn't a provocation but a reaction to a series of provocations from Putin.
  • @kitcole4927
Kursk was given to the USSR by Ukraine when Ukraine was given Crimea .
