Turtle Beach Stealth 520 gaming headphones, USB charger socket replacement.

Published 2024-03-15
There we were repairing a Philips V2000 video recorder when we were interrupted by a teenager who had broken the charger port on his gaming headphones. Can we replace the micro-USB charger socket?

This would have been a much more appropriate socket, Amazon Affliate link earns us a little if you buy this:

I recommend wired headphones for gaming, because they do not lag like bt.

Great work not easy to fix usb ports on some items.

Did you have to replace like-for-like? If it only uses the USB connector for power, could a different (more robust) type of connector have worked?

Use hot glue to keep small stuff in place.
