Forgive an oldie, but every time I see a demo of the latest DCC stuff there are so many features and options that I feel I'd be overwhelmed by all the decision making, so I stick with DC with all its limitations.

Great presentation. The auto uncoupling really stood out for me 👍

A,cracking presentation thank you Richard lots of detail. That woodland scenics tree system is fabulous and youve certainly piqued my interest in the Kinesis system too.

It'd be great if rail-based sensors could be integrated into the DCC system in order to ensure that pre-programmed operations halted at the right locations.

Im so liking that the conrods on the 08 dont flex in the middle like they do at the moment.
  • Steel NOT Steal..... must say I'm impressed with the DCC coupling system ! Shame it is unlikely to be available as a retro-fit option......
  • Some fantastic stuff coming. We need a stay alive suitable for N gauge , is it possible? Even 3 seconds would cover many stalling issues.

Definitely interested in the 08 shunter, i would have been interested in the 31 but already on order from another manufacturer 😊

Are the 25s going to have the auto uncouplers, and is this something that will fitted to new locomotives throughout the Bachmann range ?
  • I've just bought a Dapol Gunpowder Van of N Gauge status, to go with the Graham Farish goods train a friend of mine has helped me out with. I also have 4 Graham Farish coaches and two GWR steam engines: GWR Large Prairie Tank Engine in GWR Green and King Richard 2nd in BR Blue. From ebay comes a Graham Farish Ocean Wagon. I have set up a Graham Farish oval of track and a track controller, on my living room floor. The first test operation will commence in November. There's just one small setback, I'm nervous about handling the tiny models because it's a new experience for me. Can you show me a video that gives an N Gauge tutorial on how to put engines and rolling stock on the track, of this tiny size? Also, can you please give me some tips on beginning with N Gauge?
  • Any news of redesigning the N Scale E-Z track, especially the switches lol

So Kinesis is a base station with wireless handset. How about a handset with some hands on controls rather than keyboard type controls? Eg a dial for speed, a forward and reverse switch . . etc Like Lionel's direct to engine controls.

Did the new class 25 have the auto release system fitted?, if not I think it should be on top of the line models for the price they will cost!, and if not is it something that you can have as an extra??.
  • Im liking the built in "automation" features there. Hornby did something similar once but it seems that bachmann have improved upon it tenfold
