In 2009 I was 29 years old, packed up my Honda civic,moved to NY and started a new life! These songs were played nonstop and what amazing memories they bring back. It's never too late to start over and chase your dreams ❤

2008-2012 was an era I feel will never happen again. Was so unique.

I partied A LOT in the end of my HS years, and the year or so after. This music was played at every event/party/hangout. The music was not only good, but life then (for me) was simpler. It was just about having fun, and that was it. Nothing else mattered, no weight of responsibility, no heavy medical bills. Literally just having fun I think thats the root of nostalgia for all of us. We miss when life was simple and we were still young seeing the world through that lense

man hearing these songs sure brings back the memories when you were young and fun. Now i'm just a grown up with lots of stress, work, and taking care of family. To all of you youngsters out there and i'm gonna be telling my kids as well, enjoy your times while in school and do all the things that make you happy cause you aint gonna have that kind of time once you enter reality and grown up world.

This playlist brings back such a strong nostalgia for me. I had just moved into the city for the first time ever away from my parents and I lived in a high rise with tons of 20ish aged people who would throw pool parties at the clubhouse starting Friday night until late afternoon on Sunday. These songs bring back deep feels.

We have 5-6 more years before these songs will be 20 years old. Listening to these makes my heart hurt because i had a horrible childhood and these songs bring back so many memories that I wish I could change. Its sad.

I turned 13 in the Summer of 2009. I remember "You Found Me" by the Fray was played on the radio every five minutes.
