Last of Us 2 (TLOU 2 ) She started hating joel & doesn't care about him After abby kills joel ellie wants to take revenge & the game starts with that scene But in the end she betrayed joel & tommy By leaving abby alive So that's why i am calling Ellie "A fool"

I really like how with the early flashbacks in part 2, they still maintained her old personality. She was definitely in a darker place mentally in part 2

Joel’s song even says “if I ever were to lose you, I’d surely lose myself” not only did Ellie lose herself, but now she can’t play Joel’s song anymore. her ability to play the guitar was the one last thing connecting her to joel

Ellie's character changed so much its sad. She went from being a silly young girl who tried to make everything positive, to being a broken, lost soul, because she lost Joel.

I miss iconic 14 yo Ellie. She was funny, cute, badass and a great supporting and overall character. But I understand what Naughty Dog tried to turn her into in the 2nd game. TLOU is not a game about perfect lives or people, and Ellie growing up and becoming a serious and depressed adult is also what this story is about. Me being currently 19 yo (just like her in the 2nd game) also helped me understand her character better.

Ellie needs a big loving hug. I felt so terrible for her during TLOU2, ugh.

oh how much my heart hurt seeing her in her 20's form, oh my god the sad lost look in her face, knowing that she lost herself and was blindly driven to kill in rage; she didn't kill only because she was angry at those who murdered joel, she was angry at herself too; that she didn't even try to fix, to make up the relationship between her and her dad figure before the time was too late. it's so painful.

my heart really hurts for her, i don't think she's a fool, she was filled with grief the entire story rather than revenge, i think she was struggling on how to cope with joel. it was best to just let abby go and finally move on.

The actual ages would be: 14, 16, 17, 19 and 21.

The way she slowly becomes more gaunt and just physically weighed down is SO subtly done. But it’s perfect. She talks in her journals about not being able to eat or sleep. And it translates BEAUTIFULLY in her character model.

The character development in tlou games are amazing. Ellie went from a kid in a world that she didn’t understand but had to live in it to later becoming a badass and a strong character in the game. Yes the story is strong and sadly at the young age she is she went through a lot but you can’t lie Ellie is a badass character
