Construction Techniques To Decorate Beautiful Round Porch Columns Using Fine Sand Cement

I’ve lived in Vietnam over a decade. I see/seen this work everywhere and at the speed they do it in is amazing. These skilled cement artists can do anything with cement (human figures, landscapes, animals figures, incredible scrolls, you name it if someone wants it they do. Just incredible craftsmanship. The 5 story house in front of mine 3 weeks ago was a solid back wall. They knocked out the entire wall of each floor. Today they’re on the second floor building a new wall. 3/4/5 floor walls are completed with new ornate windows and ornate trim facade of what was a solid glad wall, just amazing skills and speed

I used to make stuff like this out of wood..and I'm blown away this guy is sculpting all these shapes and square edges and crown molding out of cement. This is absolute artwork..nice job!

They should use their sculpting skills to makes molds for fine castings. Then they can get hollow concrete column sections that can be stacked on site as well as cast capital pieces that can be assembled as well on site. Then the molds can be used over and over to make more columns. Seeing how skilled they are they clearly have made more than on set of these built on site so making castings might save tons of time for future projects.
