Pastor kicks Bible in Church?

People are being put in prison for their faith and losing just about everything. Im sure they would probably give up the remaining things they possess for a page of scripture, and here we are kicking it like it means nothing. This is disgusting!

Its so cringe to see them kick the word of GOD and make a mockery... 😮😢

I was a little confused as to why my Pastor wanted to get out early for the Super Bowl. I thought it shouldn’t even be mentioned in church.

Wearing a football jersey to Church would be wrong, because it would be a DISTRACTION for (some) people, and make them think about the “big game.” We’re supposed to be focusing on The Lord.

There’s a time and a place for everything. Church wasn’t the time nor the place to have a pop music performance and to have a football party.

Church is a place of prayer, praise, and worship. You don't go there to have fun, you go to church to praise and worship God. Enough said.

The Answer to why is in the bible. Paul mentioned a Great Falling away from the faith, what we see here is a by product of that. People have been conditioned by "Entertainment" to have such a short attention span that they cannot comprehend God's word normally. SO churches compensate for that by making service Entertainment. Sooner or later it becomes about entertainment over God. Its so so sad, but this is just one way the "Falling away" is occuring.

They actually kicked the Bible????😮😮😮😮😮What on earth is going on in our churches?! What utter contempt for the Word of God😢. This "service" made me think of Exodus 32 where Moses was "long in coming down from the mountain." And instead of waiting to hear the Word of the Lord the people became impatient and created the golden calf as their God instead, and it further says in that chapter how they engaged in "party" behavior (revelry) that was not befitting of God's chosen people. Watching this and other "services" like it tells me we are there where those Israelites were, we are doing the golden calf and revelry thing instead of worshipping our God in Spirit and in truth😢. And just like in Exodus 32 there's always an "Aaron" ready to do and say to God's people what God has not authorised, for their own purposes.

My Pastor asked me “Vance why are you not at the SuperBowl” I said because we at the Church now play on the same Team, that’s why I’ve driven clients to Church today for the 65th time. NFL stands for Not For Long, when you Play for TeamJesus it means NowForLife 💪🏽🏈✝️

I live Cincinnati and I went to that church one time- ONE time was too much 😢

So, I went to a church service that started at 3 p.m. and the service started on time but the pastor got up and said "Well, I had a whole sermon prepared but he said that the Holy spirit told him to go in another direction". So he had one of the members read a particular passage from 1 Peter and then he expounded on that. The service didn't hold long because it was super bowl Sunday and I was disappointed. He just wanted to get out of church early. Nothing comes before God.
