3%???? WTH are you people smoking?? Just my car insurance went up more than 3% in last year. The food cost is at least 20% more. I would say im spending at least 30% more than a year ago for the same stuff. I just had to buy a new bbq. Same brand as my old one for $299 4yrs ago. New one is a little smaller, cheaper built, will prob blow over in a good wind and missing missing the side burner. Now $700. I remember filling my cart at Costco for $300. Now its 500 or more. I dont understand why you people say stuff like that when you know every single person sees and is living the real truth every day... We really really wish it was just 3% more to live so much that hearing you say thats all it is just pisses people off.

So true! I moved here thinking life will be better but gosh it’s expensive here.
  • The cost of living seems to be increasing every year, making it harder to keep up.

We as longtime locals in Las Vegas can certainly thank our neighbors from California who have now brought their high costs of living habits to Las Vegas which is now pushing folks like me out who left California 13 years ago and now I am getting pushed out while Vegas is no longer a place to afford with gas going up and groceries and the rents!!! :(- Thanks Californians!!!! :(-
  • Everywhere folks, everything costs more under creepy Joe. The 99 cent Zote laundry soaps now cost $1.62 at walmart. 62% inflation.

In Texas my property tax was $15k and now in vegas it is $8k. What a deal moving to vegad has benefited us.
  • Nothing in vegas is stable, you use to live to what you could afford that's not the case anymore, Nevada is now California and that means a wasteland !
  • Nobody would be complaining if our wages were growing at that rate of inflation
  • Corporations are to blame for this inflation. They raised prices for more profits and you suffer. Spend like you're on survival mode and put some corporations out of business.

my workplace isnt giving a cost of living raise to us hourly employees this year, as the president is "expecting a slow summer season" but miraculously found room in the budget to give the directors of operation, VP and pres a $20,000 bonus each. Thank god, since idk if they would be able to survive on their meager $400,000-600,000 salaries alone and considering they're never on-site, they must not be able to make themselves full-time, let alone me. Times are tough for executives, especially when your income has to be public info by law.
