As a millennial that do not care much about politics, I think this is a good way for me/millennials/GenZ to learn and know more about our minister in a candid way. As house visit/meet the people session/market visit usually target middle age/seniors, we young people seldom care much about politics and ministers.. so I think this video is really great to get us involved and capture our attention of the current affairs.. thumbs up for this ep👍🏻

So simple, human and down-to-earth. Its a tough job to be a minister, but yet he still did it anyways.
  • @hwq1234
He is surprisingly more affable and down to earth than I thought. I guess all these years he has been painted in a bad light due to the way he carries himself or the way he talks. Great episode 👏

this might actually be it, the content that every singaporean has been waiting for. a somewhat unfiltered talk show with a minister. really amazing. really want to see minister shanmugam come onto here!
  • Solid episode. But what really struck me was how 'in' Min Chan was. Being of an entirely different age it must not come second nature for him to know the pain points of young content creators like TDK, but he still took the time to ask questions and understand. Guess that's what it takes to be a minister, kee chiu man!
  • Minister Chan is not pretentious and is very honest n is very straightforward n easy to talk to. A very good man.

There was once I met Min Chan at a market... The way that he stood and chat with the store owners just showed how often he visits them.
  • @Putt-Putt
Honestly, the best part for me was him talking in Singlish. Sounds very down to earth and relatable.

Love it when he emphasized that you won't always get what you want in life. Mastering and making the best of whatever opportunity is given to you, is a lost art. Especially in today's culture where pursuing what you "want" is deemed as a more noble thing.
  • @hijoker3
He talks with more expression here than other formal speeches

Great show. Minister CCS is a good sport and highly intelligent public servant. while he may not be eloquent but his heart for singapore is more important.
  • Thank God for such a great down to earth minister that is humble, approachable and very friendly. How blessed it is to be Singaporeans and all those who live in Singapore. May God bless Singapore continue to grow strong and be a good example and also a great blessing to many other countries.

Great episode, minister Chan is a very down to earth man. I used to be from the public service and have heard many great things about him from my ex colleagues.
  • @Cryptofika
CCS is the champ. he is super patient when talking to you all.
  • I like Minister Chan Chun Sing because he is so down to earth. He is actively creating very smart SG of the future because he encourages lifelong study
  • @linnychern
I am working under Min Chan and trust me, he is really a very very good boss. Can’t say the same for everyone, but really for him… his is good
  • @danielang250
Minister Chan is always very diligent, humble, sincere and authentic. He is able to explain the profound in simple terms. His heart is at the right place. He is a blessing to the nation indeed.
  • One thing I’m proud about as a Singaporean is that our ministers and politicians like to engage with the public and they’re all very approachable.
  • Yes he is a very down to earth person, raised by a single mom... i wont call it riches but he is a "rag to minister" kind of story.... really work hard and be recognised
