Chris was extra emotional due to not being allowed to pay tribute to MJ, his idol, as soon as he passed due to the Rihanna situation. Plus, he was glad the world gave him a second chance. This is authentic and I'm glad it's uploaded again.

I think that it’s beautiful how even though Chris was too overwhelmed with emotions to be able to sing, it allowed Michael Jackson to sing his own song from up above and the audience were supportive. It allowed Chris to soak in the moment and I feel like it was personal to him 💫

This is hands down the best tribute ever. No one else could have come this close to MJs dance moves either. Great job, Chris Brown. We all miss and love him too. My daughter is 7, and MJ is her favorite singer ever. She will sit and watch his music videos all day and try to do the dances. 😂

I have so much respect for this guy. My heart goes out to him for showing his true heartfelt respect and love he has for MJ. total respect for the audience for showing their love and respect and getting behind him to sing the words to the song to show there love and support to this courageous singer. Michael Jackson will always live on for all eternity. Im 56 yrs old and still listen and watch videos of Michael jackson singing. Michael is a true legend . Miss him dearly.

I remember this. This tribute was actually a year after MJ's passing. He was caught up in the Rihanna situation the previous year and didn't make the show. This was his make up tribute. His emotions were entirely based off Michael, not Rihanna.
