Hello Russ! 💖 Love your videos. Arizona is so full of hidden gems!
-
I wintered in Dolan Springs, just a few miles further north of Chloride and I've camped up on Big Wash road many times. The road is fine all the way, just a few spots you need to slow down. The campground that is back the farthest is wonderful and well kept. Great views, pit toilet, clean. Me and my 4 legged pals loved the area. Thanks for the memories.
-
It seems like a great place to spend the weekend and forget about your problems for a bit.
-
Thanks for the fun video. I'm going to be heading to Laughlin to visit family in a couple of weeks. And I'm going to swing by that little town and check it out.Maybe have lunch. Safe travels.

Nobody does it quite like you Russ! Enjoy your old school sense of humor as well !

This brings back the memories. I lived in Oatman in the 90s, and had a guitar picker friend who played in Chloride every so often. Always had a great time there, got to know some of the residents there, and we'd see them in Oatman occasionally. Thanks for this vid!

the mural is truly a sight to see

Hello! I'm an explorer and photographer from the area around Chloride, and I wanted to inform you of an interesting item you missed in the video - the old railroad depot. It is labled the Santefe Depot on the Google map, however, it was actually built by the Arizona and Utah Railroad that served the mining interests in the area in the late 1860's. It sits just north of Schuylkill Ave on what is the eastern end of 2nd Ave, almost directly north of the post office and Russell's Store. Make another trip back sometime and add that to your videos. - Frank C.

Nice video, Russ, and thanks for sharing. My ex-husband and I used to drive past Chloride on our way to Las Vegas. We were always going to stop an see it one day, but we never did. Now I wish we had. Cool little town.

Thank you Russ! Good old old town! I really enjoyed the Yesterday hotel and restaurant! That lady must be lonely though! One dog in town! Kept barking! I love animals!❤️😀🚙🇺🇸🐕🦺
