Policing minister Dame Diana Johnson has warned there is scope for further far-right violence in coming days, with more protests planned.

Wednesday's night demos passed off with relatively little of the disorder that had been feared.

Dame Diana said the threat of "swift justice" had been a factor in pushing some far-right protesters to stay at home.

But intelligence suggested the threat of violence was not over.

Where's the 3 year sentence for the 2 Muslims that abused the armed police in Manchester
  • British establishment a total joke, having just spent two weeks stirring up trouble and hijacking a tragedy in Southport.

When there is a protest. Hundreds of police turn up to deal with it. Often lines of police 3 to 4 deep. Where are these police officers. When a boat full of illegal immigrants, turn up on a beach. Why don't we get rows of officers 3 to 4 deep? Surrounding these boats and dealing with the criminal offences that clearly arrive with every boat. Why don't we have these policing resources? When town centre shops are robbed every day. Where are all these police? When groups of travellers move onto a public playground and cause misery for people Where are these police? When random homeless people are beaten up in the streets? It's no good. If the police can only uphold certain laws. The boats are coming here illegally. Where are the police?
  • Starmer needs to be removed & charged with treason, he's a disgrace.

Mad how all these important people in charge have never been seen or heard of before now.... Almost as if they dismissed all the old workers that done there jobs well and replaced them with fools
  • What sentence did the guy who punched a female police officer in Manchester airport get? Interesting indeed

I don’t understand the near total media unification on this issue. Biased, one-sided reporting even from the likes of The Telegraph and Mail. Dreadful reporting. Only GBN have had any balance whatsoever. Odd, given the 90+% support for the issues in any media outlet that dares allow comments.

I wonder how many will be deleted, one has already.

Where is the speedy justice for the two men who attacked those 3 police officers at Manchester Airport - 3 years for punching a Police officer? I saw at least 4 punches by the chap in the baby blue and more like 6 by the chap in dark grey? Any justice for those officers??
