He won an olimpic medal, then he returned home, he went to a restaurant and they denied him dinner.... And they wanted him to go to Vietnam to fight for "freedom"?

When a man is willing to give up his World Title and NOT got to war to kill innocent people then he is a CHAMPION indeed. RIP Muhammad Ali.

When I teach my students about Vietnam in history class I always bring up Muhammad Ali and what he did. My students love him.

This is the reason why Ali is The Greatest. He was a fighter in and out of the ring. Not compromising his beliefs was the best thing he did. War is not the answer.

He was not apologetic or afraid to be politically correct. Society has become too afraid for fear of being criticized and ostracized.

If he made the speech today I can't imagine how fox will react to it, there would be boos from part of the ignorant audience they would label him terrorist and what not.
