Super! You have got a huge territory so you will be able to add more hostas and more pleasant memories!
-
Hi, my name is Oksana and I'm hostaholic π
-
You are so cute with the hostas! I am new to hosta, but want to expand my collection. Loved your video. WOW on the hosta island!
-
Beautiful! I'm a fellow collector π π I can't recall which one is my most expensive. It's very possibly Empress Wu, because I remember seeking it out the year it was new. And having to buy it twice, because the first one died. π Favorites change, I will always LOVE June and Rainbow' s End, but I think it's currently a tie between American Halo, and Risky Business; because they both put on size very quickly after planting, and were a massive presence within a couple of years. I like the biggies β€

Those white centred hostas at the very end of the video, likely undulata mediovariegata.
-
There was a hosta that was unnamed. That is so beautiful. Hudson Bay? Dream Weaver/Queen? You pull the leaf out of the way @ 9:41.
-
All of them are my favorite. Love your hosta's.
-
Love hosta also. I love your philosophy on gardening! I may have to borrow it. I hate leaving unnecessary space, thinking I will move something when it gets crowded. Often that doesn't happen! Thanks for sharing.
-
I love Hosta and I think the deer does too.
-
The shiny dark green with ruffled edges can be Candy Dish.
-
Yes I fell under First Blushβs spell too (but only $40) and cried when she died 6 months later! At least you still have yours!π¬

I bought Goodness Gracious last year and am so looking forward to seeing it grow. I also have Dream Weaver which is stunning as is Orion's Belt. Avocado is stunning too. I can't pick one. Lol

My current favorite in my hosta collection is probably Guacamole. I think the hostas I paid the most for were my Empress Wu hostas since they were installed by my landscaper after I begged him to find some for me! Thankfully I have been able to divide them and have many more than the two he planted. I think I want to plan a hosta destination trip that includes Land of the Giants Hosta Farm in Milton WI.

What a stunning collection! Was the truck driver ok?
-
I never knew that wild impatiens (aka jewelweed) helped with relieving poison ivy rash! Thanks for that info. Plus, jewelweed is pretty in flower. Bonus.
-
All that wood chip mulch around the hostas is only helping out the slugs!
-
My favorite is June, partly because I love its colors and partly because thatβs my momβs name. Not sure which Iβve paid the most for. None of mine have been super expensive (no new releases, ultra rare ones, etc.).

Love your Goodness Gracious! Thanks for sharing your garden. You helped me identify one of my hostas, Blue Cadet. It was labeled Elegans when I purchased it as a tiny plant but as it slowly grew it became obvious that it was not Elegans but I did not know what it was.

Iβm right over the border in Southwick, donβt have a favorite Hosta but Goodness Gracious would definitely be on the list of favorites, I like variegated plants very much . Recently Iβve been looking for a Halcyon Hosta , havenβt seen one yet

I just loved your video on Hostaβs! It surprised me to see you have a Hosta Andrew. Iβve been searching for one of those for a sentimental a reason. My eldest son just recently died of ALS. His name was Andrew. He is definitely at home with the Lord which gives me peace. It has been on my heart to find a Hosta Andrew to plant in my garden to honor my son. Do you have a nursery near you that would have Hosta Andrew? I live in GA and it would need to be shipped to me. Thank you.
