How do you get cellular data when traveling internationally?

Are you someone like me who travels a lot and prefers being connected while abroad? Maybe you have an upcoming trip planned and need to be connected for work, maybe you just want to know your whereabouts and map directions, or maybe you just want it for peace of mind. Whatever your reason is, I have an easy, fast, and efficient way to connect you wherever it is you plan to go.

In today’s video I’m going to introduce you to eSIMs (if you aren’t already familiar with them). I’m then going to talk about how to easily purchase and install one so that you can get connected for your upcoming trip right away.

Getting connected has never been easier, cheaper, and faster. I used to spend gobs of money buying physical SIM cards and adding data to them, but now with ESIM technology the chips have become virtual and the installation instant. Let's go over all the benefits of eSims and the steps to install one (or several) to your device.

Ready to download your travel eSIM? Click here to download the Airalo App and choose your eSim package: airalo.pxf.io/c/4000973/2000777/15608?p.code=JEFFH…

DISCOUNT CODE: Save 10% off Airalo eSIMs when you use code 'JEFFHYER10.' Note: this discount code will only work if you first click the above link to apply.

Want to know if your device is eSIM compatible? Take a look at the Airalo site where they have all compatible devices listed: www.airalo.com/help/about-airalo/what-devices-supp…

I recommend you activate it before you leave this way you don’t have to go crazy looking for free Wi-Fi to activate it.

Excellent video Jeff. I have purchased a data only SIM for overseas. Do I disable my original SIM when I activate the overseas SIM or do I still have the original SIM enabled but with roaming off so I can still have WIFI calling on when connected to WIFI? Thanks in advance.

Dumb question-Do I need to re-lock my Iphone after I return home so its available for use. Or can I just leave it alone and continue to use it with my current ATT account

Thank you for an excellent and informative video. I have two related questions. I will be using for my trip to india. I have few questions. (1) When I land, I need to call my car driver on his Indian cell phone to tell him that I have arrived. Will this allow me to make that call to a local cell number? (2) I often need to connect to my banks and brokerages, and they send me a verification code as a text to my US tel number (Verizon service). Will I be able to get those codes too? (3) Would I be able to use my whatsapp as is?

Hi Jeff, loved your video. I have a question regarding the installation process at home before traveling. I have an i phone 15 which has an e sim. As soon as I clicked on start installation on the Airalo app I got a pop up - "Activate New e-sim...allow this if you requested a new e sim from your carrier...Apple will share your device EID number with your carrier or e Sim provider... should I click on allow at this point? Thanks

Thanks for the info Jeff. I have a question. How would this work if you are going to several destinations. For example, I am planning a trip that will take me to Italy, Greece, Turkey and the UK. Since I'll be in a cruise, probably will not have a signal while at sea. Is their a "multicountry" package that you may know of?
