What Announcements Atlus? Persona's 25th Anniversary was dreadful...

Ok, it's been a while and lemme clarify some things: I mostly meant that this anniversary sucked for the Persona FANS. When it comes to those who wanna get into the Persona series it was probably the best thing ever. I'm not gonna judge you if you liked/hated it, but I was letting y'all know the side of my story... Also P1 and P2 fans in shambles, throw them a bone Atlus!

sorry to hear Persona's 25th was kind of a bust, I'm surprised there wasn't anything for Persona 1+2 or even a hint of what Persona 6's color might be

I mean my whole justification for the lack of large game announcements that aren’t ports is that Atlus is mainly a Japanese company which is a bit hard to explain but the best I can they prioritize their Japanese audience consider their a lot smaller then releasing P4G on steam a while back was an experiment that ended up going a whole lot better than they expected cause Japanese folk usually are content with only keeping a single console and not multiple so I would say after they whole thing with P4G they started to look more towards their audience outside of Japan so maybe the plans for the anniversary were already set in stone I could very well be wrong or not my sense but that’s my thoughts

I agree it was a bust but like I get it as to why they're not going to announce game titles like you wanted. That is too much brother and it would delay so much in just releasing those alone. I expected console ports to like switch/xbox/pc, Merch, p4a, and honestly thats all I was really expecting from this. People were BEGGING for Persona to be ported to other platforms. (#Breakfreepersona) etc, Atlus responded with doing so and even though they didn't port P1/2, I get it because the gameplay differences would be far too dramatic for anyone within the mainstream audience of persona to truly go back to and experience first hand. Me personally, I would've loved p2. P3 Remake is something I will not expect anytime soon considering their lack of care for P1/2.

I bet Atlus will announce Persona 6 Dancing before the actual Persona 6

I’ve waited about 6 years to play persona 5. I’m content since I can now experience the game itself.

Not going to lie I was extremely hyped when I saw that there was a 25th aniversary and thought about all the possible remakes of older games, spin offs etc we would possibly get. Then I thought about it a bit more and my mind wandered of to the "announcements" for P5R, P5S and P3&5D over the years and remembered that they had like 4 announcements where they were announcing more infos a few months in the future. Atlus (The company not the talanted individuals) are one of the worst companies. Just think about all the DLC in Persona 5 that were small cosmetics for 6€ each. They are always riding the hype train so I honestly sadly don't expect anything from them but frustrating PR and great (In my case lifechanging) games.
