  • I feel sorry for those who didn't get to enjoy the music of the sixties. And partake of those days.

I have loved this song since I was a little kid hearing it on the car radio.

I remember the first time I heard this song. I was a teenager just got my first vehicle, a 1966 Chevrolet pickup with an AM radio non push button. I was riding around the farm when I heard it. I liked it then and still do. Amazing how I can remember the exact place I was. They were Great!

Kids this is what music is supposed to sound like.

This was the only American song available in the juke box at the lunch diner in Puerto Rico during my high school years (1975). I played it daily for a quarter during my lunch breaks. Great memories.

The 60s music will put you on another planet that no one will understand unless you have a love of the 60s music. You don't need drugs or alcohol to appreciate the best music ever. God....take me back to the 60s and leave me there....I'll be just fine.
  • I was 14 and in love with my married history teacher when this was a hit. 1971! Love ❤️ you Mr Warren! 😂

This is one of my all time favorite songs from the 1960s. It's from 1968. I was 10 years old at this time.

I can not believe 51 years has gone by since this song first came out in 1968.  I was only 14 years old then, and a freshman in high school. The song still sounds as fresh to me now that I'm 67, as it did when I was a 14 year old boy.  I consider the music of the 60's as the greatest decade in Rock & Roll history. Priceless!
