Keep the home hunting videos! I find it interesting. But with the time running out....you're eventually gonna have to compromise. Rank your "must haves" in order of importance then eliminate the last one from both of yours, then find a place. I think Paolo is realizing that "Happy Wife Happy Life" is true. Don't just consider how long it takes you personally to walk places. Try to imagine how long it'll take while carrying a baby + baby stuff + anything else (like groceries), or pushing a stroller. Is it a flat surface? No stairs? etc.

8 min walk doesn’t seem that much. I used to walk 30-40 mins everyday to get to school

Don’t visit an apartment unless it meets both of your criteria, especially if it’s on a line she dislikes or is more than 5 minutes from the station. Those seem to be dealbreakers for her. How about your current apartment building? Are there any 2LDKs or 3LDKs available?

guys no offense but how do you think people that live in new york commute? get an umbrella. change into your heels when you get to the office. my commute was about an hour and a half ONE way when i lived in brooklyn and worked in manhattan. including switching trains at union square. you shouldn’t base your home choice on not being able to walk for 5 minutes? i’m honestly just confused about that.

Okay maybe I’m alone in this, but I’d be absolutely elated if my daily commute was just an hour long round trip

I love you guys to death but the 8 minute I really couldn't get? The walk thing must be a culture thing there in Japan or a first world thing (PS I'm from the Philippines) . I walk atleast 20 minutes to work everyday in humid heat so I honestly feel it wouldnt be that bad? But you guys are having a baby 🤔 And I wouldn't want my baby to walk 2 more minutes in humid or cold weather as well. Either ways wishing the both of you the best! Hopefully you could find a perfect apartment where the both of you feel comfortble raising your baby ❤️
