i wish i could go back to playing this game for the first time. my friend showed it to me for the first time in 2013, time moves too quickly.

2020 was 4 years ago. 2017 was 7 years ago. 2014 was 10 years ago. 2010 was 14 years ago. 2006 was 18 years ago. How time has flew by is crazy man.

This current obsession with nostalgia is a symptom of a culture that isn't allowed to imagine a future.

our generation is so enthralled by nostalgia, it's actually really sad. we're still so young but we're already yearning for the good ol days of our childhoods.

I am in tears. I am not joking. I am crying. Primary school, afternoon, sun, sunset, evening, playing minecraft on an xbox at my house with my friends. I am crying. I shouldn't be. Nostalgia devours me from inside like a cancer. Yet I smile.

As a kid, I wanted to be an adult. Now that I am, I want to be a kid again. Because I didn't realize how hard it is to be an adult.

2014 was 10 years ago

12 years now... I feel old. I remember being 12, wishing i were 13 so that i could officially be called a teen...now im 21... time flew by so fast.

I'm in my 20s now and there's just... So much going on to be honest. As a kid, all I would do on a day was eat, go to school, play games, and sleep. I hate how busy my life is now. I hate how I have to do so many things every day and yet feel like I haven't done enough. There's always more stuff to do, and it never stops.

Imagine listening to this 50 years from now. If I survive until that day, these songs will probably end me from sheer emotional impact

this video made me remember an old world i had with my dad back on the ps4. we would sit on the couch together and just enjoy the game. we had an expansive mine with a minecart railway taking you down - my dad loved it. we also explored a woodland mansion and had some dogs and a suitable house. not a crazy elaborate world, but good enough. unforgettable memories.

i used to think that my dad wouldn't stop talking about the 90s and the 80s, but I somehow never realized that , its the same thing as me talking about the early 2010s i can't believe its over, it feels like i barely had the time to enjoy it, but we have to move on somehow i remember sitting on the sofa after school, bag of chips beside me, rest of the day off with my 360, no real responsibilities, no having to pay for car insurance, gas prices, college or the future man, i was living a dream and didnt know it

The early 2010s were honestly the last time many of us weren't too terribly glued to our phones, endlessly scrolling through content for another desperate hit of dopamine
