Plain white button down shirts (men's or women's) are typically plentiful at the thrift stores, but what can you do to jazz them up? Well, I have a super fun idea for you that just requires some simple sewing. We are going to make an unique one-of-a-kind tuxedo top. The tails are made from a thrifted oval tablecloth and the blouse / tunic is decorated and embellished with parts of the tablecloth and lots of vintage lace, creating beautiful layers and lovely details. Enjoy!

Hey Tracy, as always obsessed, this came out beautifully. I am making this next. I'm finishing up the patched and appliqued jeans you showed us how to make. This lacy tunic and my patched jeans will be gorgeous together. Oh yeah, I just bought a bunch of men's white oversized button down shirt's. Thank you for all that you do. Because of you I'm creating the wardrobe of my dreams!!!!!

You should ask viewers to send a photo of their upcycled item with or without a before shot. Every now and then you could put up a video with maybe 5 peoples 'artwork' as a way to thank them. It would be super cool to see the designs.

I just found your channel, unfortunately both of my parents have passed away and for years I have been having a hard time parting with their clothing. Your channel has inspired me beyond words. Thank you for taking the time to share not only your creations but also how to achieve them. Sending you light and love

I'm a 23 year old goth zoomer and your DIY and re-purposing is so inspiring to me even though we're very different in terms of style! The stuff you make is just so beautiful, unique, and creative 💙💙.

A really different concept on this remake! I think it would be cute dyed a cream color too.

This one reminds me of the romantic poets blouse. How perfect for Valentines make♥

Absolutely beautiful. Who doesn’t love some white & lace. Great job. Thanks for sharing 😊
  • This would be a great way to get a white shirt that can't be seen through. However, I would not want a shirt so long in the back. I don't wear a white blouse very often; but, I do own several very nice white blouses. The only way I will ever get a white shirt/blouse that I really want to wear will be to make one the way I want it. Your white Tuxedo shaped Tunic looks beautiful on you. Enjoy.
  • Turned out great I was so happy you put the cutout on back too . Another star 🌟

Absolutely gorgeous. I would love to have one of these. Too bad I stink at sewing.

You never cease to amaze! This is just too cute! Thanks so much for sharing your process, you are such a pleasant teacher. You are literally the only You tube creator that I listen to. Most of them I watch speed up and without sound. However I watch everything you do with sound and at normal speed and I usually watch them multiple times before I even start creating the item. I just love everything you do.

Funky n fun! Now I know what to do with my day today. A sewing adventure😊
  • I just love this creation! I love all of your creations! It’s so unique and looks easy enough to upcycle several tops into one of a kind outfits. I love wearing things that only I have! This will go fantastic with the leather heart necklace! I love Sundays because that’s when your new videos come out! Yesterday was a bonus with the leather heart necklace! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us!
