Hey guys I'll make a part 2 soon, so let me know what to include! Also which hit do you think was the dirtiest? (I didn’t include the Todd Bertuzzi sucker punch because this video was only of dirty body checks)

Matt Cooke is a such a disgrace to the game. Despite the fact Keith's hit on him was dirty, I don't think anyone felt bad for him. You reap what you sow.
  • @XELA603
its so insane that matt cooke got away with injuring so many people. absolute disgrace
  • @bingboone9474
Modano getting dropped at 6:58 has some attitude era WWF vibes going on, even the announcer "can't believe we just saw that" of course Modano got quite the payday in that lawsuit lol

How Dale Hunter was allowed back in the league is beyond me. That hit after Turton scored was one of the worst ever because the play is dead after a goal and he went head hunting. When the Caps hired him as a coach I wanted blood.

The fact that Cooke was allowed to play in the NHL for such a long time is honestly just depressing, especially seeing him with a letter on his jersey as if that guy was some kind of role model to look up to.
  • 8:55 two teammates watch the cheap shot and immediately turn away from the play and go after the thug. We all need friends like them!
  • @ionix24
1:09 crazy how one hit created one of the most iconic rivalries in hockey
  • @TeMpThAnG
2:35 love the way teammates defend and protect each other
  • @Neumann3313
Love the comradery at 8:55, the way his two teammates turned immediately at exactly the same time, thinking exactly the same thing "Ima fuck this guy up!"
  • @bruinscat
Thank you for putting this together! I think it clearly shows you have three types of players: 1. Players who make bad choices, or just make an unfortunate hit at an inopportune time. 2. Decent players who make repeated bad choices, like Marchand, Tom Wilson & Kadri, but all of these guys have showed that a player can mature and start making better decisions. I especially despise Wilson for some of his worst hits, but in discussions, I have always said he does not need to play like that, he really has talent, and he showed some of that in the Caps recent playoff run. I suppose you could say the same for Marchand and Kadri as far as talent. 3. Predatory hitters: Scott Stevens, Matt Cooke, Ty Domi, Claude Lemeiux, Brian? Marchment, and I am sure I missed and forgot some. I honestly do not care that the NHL had no rules to specifically protect players; Scott Stevens and Matt Cooke clearly displayed serial predatory behavior, and seemingly enjoyed injuring opponents. Full disclosure: I am a Bruins fan, and I do like Marchand; however, I never liked when Brad made stupid choices, especially when it could/did injure someone. Those are just dumb, selfish actions that almost always hurt one's own team.

Curious how many of these players had to retire after these hits? Some of them look so damn brutal that they had to have long term issues. I think 15:30 is the hit that ended Cam Neely's career.
  • @Frizzyy
Will forever respect Keith for dropping Cooke like that , one of the only ones who deserve that kind of hit
  • @LeeRogers113
Nah that medic didn’t just drop that dude on the ground 😂
  • @aaron28175
that jake evans hit could've killed him, literally. he was knocked cold and i saw it happen on tv. I will never forget that
  • @ATK10155
3:00 Downie is currently sitting in Jamaica undergoing Magic Mushroom treatment for the years of Concussion, Anger, and drug abuse he went through as an enforcer. After seeing what he did in the NHL, it’s cathartic watching him break down in tears.
  • @ras6298
Didn't mind seeing the Keith hit on Cooke
  • @DISRUPTOR40
7:00 The cheapest shot was from the paramedic who drop the already injured player on the ground !! LMAO
  • @louisbuss6068
The worst for me is the Chara one where he decapitated the guy on the box glass. Second is the cross-check to the neck straight in to the edge og the box. Both looks like intent to kill
