    By the time the Olympics start Shericka will be 30, Elaine 32 and Shelly-Ann 37. By contrast Sha'Carri is only 24 (as are Long & Steiner), Terry & Clark 25, Thomas 27 & Hobbs is oldest at 28. Jefferson is 23 & Tamari Davis is just 21. The USA victories in the 4x100 relays at the last 2 World Championships was merely a harbinger of future trends. The symbolic torch is being passed from the Jamaican women to the American women.
