you know, i've been able to do a lot of thinking these past 500 years and i'm gonna be honest josh, i think i'd rather be stranded on mars
  • @Beateau
"She sure is handling this with a lot of Grace." Oh, Goddammit....
  • @ChristianJog
Josh: "She's handling it with a lot of GRACE". Me: :-)
  • @rosemosebose
It’s damn brilliant, give josh your game key and he breaks it SO bad that it’s equal parts entertainment and frustration, making the viewer want to get the game themselves. They know exactly what they’re doing giving him early access. Geniuses

Around 18:50 I was starting to worry that this playthrough had somehow gone legit, but then he revealed that he has a woman trapped in an agave prison doing sisyphean tasks and breathed a sigh of relief
  • @nickm218
The sheer JOY in his voice when he realized that the conveyor belts went outside
  • As someone who's worked in a factory before, phrases like 'logistics nightmare', 'no personal space whatsoever,' and 'time to horribly mistreat these reliable workers who have been with us for thirty years' are all far too real
  • I love how, after 500 years, Josh’s character still looks like he’s 30.
  • @ToxicMothBoi
That one lady is living the dream. Mak8ng metal rods just to throw them away. Doesnt matter how bad they look, because they get thrown out anyway PLUS she gets paid. S+ Tier job
  • @xRosaliax
"And here's something that speaks to my soul... conveyor belts." flashbacks of Satisfactory intensify
  • @aubreyharris220
I love how whenever Josh says "Just hang on for one second, I'll be right back," It's followed by a "SIX HOURS LATER"
  • Maybe been said before, but as someone who works in a factory and does a lot of department design work--where stuff goes, best places for storing input materials, best places for getting rid of materials, etc--Josh made some really good choices. Like early on he's got all his racking centrally located where everyone can easily grab things with as few steps as possible. Generally doesn't work that way in the real world due to equipment constraints/sizes, but it's always smart to put your heavy hitting stuff in prime spots like that. Finished product was close to the shipping pallet, which again, as few steps as possible. Then he set up an entire R&D lab! Different warehouses for different parts. Everything is automated by the end. Not exactly one-piece flow, but you can't always do that anyways. And honestly, being a component shop was a great idea too. Min/maxing revenue. Love when his "I'm playing this badly" is also a very hefty mix of "but i'm being very LEAN manufacturing about it!"

Josh at 18:58: "Everybody say hi to my favorite employee," Me: "Is her name Grace?" Josh: "She sure is handling this with a lot of GRACE..."
  • Josh: uhh, conveyor belts Josh' CPU and graphics card: chuckles we're in danger
  • @angiefluffy2843
6:54 I was playing minecraft while listening to this and half-zoned out when I hear "We're gonna hire people who look confused.. like Hailey here" which is MY name- so THAT caught me off guard- But apparently I woke here now- :^
  • @neali876
hi josh! this is so weird but I've been falling asleep to your videos for the past 2 weeks now and im so grateful bc it takes me forever to fall asleep most nights. i woke up in the middle of the night and imma watch this (again) to fall back asleep. just wanted to share that your videos are both entertaining and soothing at the same time haha (i think its just how calming your voice is idk) okay bye lol
  • @OshMMf
This documentary about the working conditions at Amazon is really interesting, thank you for the upload
  • @nicolai9595
Game company: "So our game is kind of done, all we need to do is iron out bugs, should we spend money on programmers to find and fix all the bugs? "Nah, lets just send a key to Josh."
  • @BuckBlaziken
Josh’s ability to find bugs in games is almost supernatural
