Inside One of the Most Iconic Sailing Yachts in the World!

As being a former captain of a traditionally rigged topsail schooner and staysail schooners, Shenandoah of Sark is a beautiful vessel. My ears did kinda hurt though while watching this video - it is a saloon not a salon, a salon is where ladies go to get their hair done. It is amazing how well she is kept up, but of course having a ton load of money makes all the difference. I am pleased there are still people around that appreciate these vessels to keep them alive for everyone to enjoy. Not minding the minor nautical terms, the video was a quite entertaining listing, and I thank you.

When I hear “maintaining a yacht like this requires a lot of love, attention, and passion.” All I really hear is “requires a fuckton of money every year”

she is unique and magnificent, and i could not imagine the operating costs. the cost of this ship would be almost irrelevant in comparison to over all costs throughout ownership.

I really am impressed with the quality of the filming and camera work. I would love to see Mikey get his own episode where he talks about filming, gear, challenges etc for the various locations, perhaps you both talk a little bit about editing, a little behind the scenes presentation perhaps.

It is a very special and a great episode, it is an eye-opener to me! Although this is a 120 year old yacht, the overall condition still looks great! Not only does the exterior look clean, but the interior is also modern! It is a very lucky thing to be able to take it to sea, and I hope I will have the opportunity to sail it in the future! I started watching your videos when you guys were at around 100k subs. 2.55M subs now, travelling the world and you guys still have the same genuine vibes. I first saw this yacht in the 1960s. Majestic is the only way to describe how she moves, under full sail, across the waters to her destination. Great good luck to the future caretaker of this magnificent piece of naval history.

Congratulations Ene's and your team for what is I think the best walkthrough of a yacht I have ever seen and I probably spend more time than I should looking at boats on YouTube. Shenandoah is for me the most beautiful yacht in the world and I'm delighted you have done her justice

Anyone know the name of the mechanism that opened the windows/ sky light when he was standing beside the piano? I saw exact same thing in one of Frank Lloyd Wrights homes and now know where he took it from!
