I had 2 of the standard m&p 10mm and just got the PC version not too long ago and im already liking it the porting on the barrel and slide makes it look like a John Wick gun if he were ti use Smith and Wesson instead of Glock i got a bunch of 40 so im going to shot some of that and see how it runs but im mainly gonna use 40 in my XDM Elite 10mm

Beautiful pistol. Thank you for this review, much appreciated. What load were you firing during this review? I love 10mm Auto with its .357 Magnum level power. It's my all-time favorite semi-auto pistol cartridge. I have the S&W M&P 10mm M2.0 4.6" full-size pistol with the ambidextrous manual thumb safety (AMTS), purchased new in mid May 2022 for $599. In late May 2022 I replaced the weak OEM stock 17-pound (17#) RSA and soft OEM stock magazine springs with a Wolff Gunsprings solid stainless steel guide rod and uncaptured 24# recoil spring, and longer stronger 11-coil magazine springs from Springer Precision. Ever since then, I've run 2,080 rounds of only 10mm Auto ammo through her with absolutely 100% flawless reliability, no malfunctions of any kind whatsoever. Most of these 10mm Auto rounds have been various brands of 180 Gr FN FMJ range ammo, but almost 700 of them have been Underwood Ammo self-defense and bear loads, ranging from 140 Gr Xtreme Penetrator through 220 Gr FN HCL (hardcast lead). Plus 20 rounds each of both Buffalo Bore and Steinel Ammo 220 Gr FN HCL. The initial grittiness in the trigger was gone after the first 300 rounds or so, aka the initial break-in period. This pistol has proven to be extremely reliable for me, as well as beautifully ergonomic, comfortable to shoot (especially with the 24# RSA), and very easy to shoot well. While I'm certainly no "Hickok45", I can consistently and reliably ring 10" steel plates at 50 yards (the longest shot I've attempted thus far, due to my shooting range limits) while free-standing, during off-hand slow-fire shooting. I want to order this one today but I am apprehensive. Seems about 50/50 if ya get a dud. I love my M&P 2.0=9. 4.25" Probably the best pistol I've ever shot. I gotta get one. I guess if it sucks it can sit in the safe next to ol M-18's trash ass.

I really want this gun, but the early reviews showed a lot of FTF's. I'm glad you've had no problems.
