Number one reason not to buy it because you will become extremely addicted to it!
-
Had my 2011 from new and still love it. Reliable, easy to maintain yourself, and perfect for the long distance enduro riding my club does here in the Aussie bush. Lost count of how many other bikes I've towed back to camp.
-
I love my raptor it definitely pays for its self in easy maintenance an reliability an the power never gets old . An you are right about the plastics they skuff up easy.
-
I had straight pipe exhaust that had inserts to change both power and loudness pretty much. Wide open was earthshaking but also made it wicked fast with the programmer.
-
I have the new 2022 raptor 700r and I like it quite actually! Can ride around the neighborhood without complaints and can ride at night without being that annoying dude.
-
the one thing that sucks is the subframe and bumper coming loose so fast
-
Never had the streak problem! Wow! I’m on my 4th blue
-
You look to be about 180-190ish pounds. Try this suspension setup. It's what I use and there is zero bump steer, walk, etc. Works fantastically! Front- Rebound- 9 out, Compression- 18 out Rear- Rebound- 6 out, Compression- 14 out
-
the blue plastic is notorious for the white streaks which , if its your 4th one why buy another?
-
thanks bro
-
Best quad ever made! Use a heat gun to remove the white from plastics. Use the heat gun gently and be careful not to melt the plastic.

Clutch throw length is 100% completely adjustable don’t like where it’s at adjusted it at the lever first, and then the motor if it’s still too far
-
If you want a good sounding exhaust without being absurdly loud go with the yoshimura RS2. I have one on my 2018 yfz450r that’s street legal here in West Virginia and I haven’t gotten any complaints or pulled over by the cops for it being to loud but it does sound pretty good!
-
You could put wheel spacers on there to widen it up.
-
The tree's really. Take your car or truck and see what the tree's do to it. The clutch I do agree with you on that
-
I just found a 2007 Orange one in the woods and basically with some elbow grease I got it running 3 days later
-
Had a 660, hated the handleing, the 700 is miles away in the handleing (tippy) problem
-
Lol…yea tho’s are def a stretch for not to own one. I think some ppl misinterpreted the vid…doesn’t mean you hate the raptor. I can think of one more…not for beginners. I would never put my wife on a raptor to learn. I have a Z400, but would love to step up to a Raptor. I rode a 660 once like 20yrs ago, but that was it.

Bought a brand new 06 back in the day. Put it on its side once and it cracked to subframe. They were 7000 back then and were still easy to break. Apparently
