This Homer Simpson timeline is one of the most detailed videos I’ve ever done. I've gone over all 765 full episodes of Matt Groening's The Simpsons to line up all of his flashbacks, flash forwards, and basically any clues about Homer Simpson's past, present and future on the show to build his full story. I’ve also looked through the comics, and the books, to make this timeline the most detailed it could possibly be.
Despite the complexities of floating timelines, and changing ages - as well as conflicting flashbacks, flashforwards, and present day events - I’ve been able to build a pretty consistent timeline for Homer. This is by sticking to his age rather than the dates stated in the episodes.
So, this is the complete, complete, timeline of Homer J. Simpson.

Disappointed that Bongo being renamed ‘Hendrix’ didn’t somehow turn into it being the old, stinky farm dog owned by the hippies in the episode where Homer discovers his middle named, which was also coincidentally named ‘Hendrix’ 😅 I thought there was some weird connection there.

When you think about how much Mr Burns screwed Homer's life up it's AMAZING the amount of kindness and compassion Homer gives Mr Burns in certain episodes. Homer is definitely more selfless than he gets credit for sometimes.

If anything when Homer's mom shows up to meet newborn Bart, Homer could just say or think it was a dream that his Mom risked getting caught by the FBI to meet her first and only grandson

It's amazing you went through hundreds of episodes (again) to make this video; I'm sure it wasn't an easy task. I haven’t read the comic and I just use this as background noise when I’m driving so I didn’t see what it said on the page, but my guess is he knew her maiden name. I always thought Mrs. Krabappel was her married name.
