You said it right about Fred Rogers. Lots of love and respect for the guy. We could all use more neighbors like him.

Best man there ever was made was Mr. Rogers. Thank you for highlighting that beautiful city.

My dad showed me your videoā€™s one day and it became a nightly routine to watch a video together. Your videos are great I love how you pay attention to everything in life !!
  • Cannot believe you are in my neck of the woods! Have fun in Pittsburgh! I have lived in the suburbs of Pittsburgh all my life! šŸ˜Š
  • I love Pittsburgh! It's such a beautiful city. Being from Northern California I really appreciate the history and the brick buildings and older architecture. I will never forget coming from the airport and driving through the tunnel to come out to the view of the rivers and the city....it literally took my breath away. Would love to visit again someday.

Hey Adam, it was so nice to meet you yesterday with my husband, Steve. We never made it over to the Warhol museum so I was glad to see your walk through, as well as the clumpy Mr. Rogers. ā˜ŗļø
  • @Snelsem
You came to the Burgh!!!!! My hometown! šŸŽ‰ā¤ The Woo is officially a YINZER!!
  • My dad grew up in the Pittsburgh area and I shared this vlog with him. He wants me to tell you that as a kid, he saw Clemente play in person and Clemente was THE BEST player of all time. He said he was an amazing defensive player with an arm you couldn't believe, and he had no strike zone. My dad said he just wasn't in a large market. Clemente died a hero. He chose to personally help the people of Nicaragua after an earthquake, and died in a plane crash en route. My dad says he loved him.

Those incline railways are called funiculars. I just think that is a pretty cool word! Also, that huge geyser is 3 Rivers Fountain. I bet itā€™s awesome to sit around it during a warm day.
  • @KenGibala
Adam, glad you enjoyed your stay in our hometown, thereā€™s still lots more to see if you ever come back. Especially Kennywood Amusement Park.

I spent 6 months on business in Pittsburgh, in 1975, and lived at the Gateway Towers, at that time the 3 Rivers Stadium was the place.. and Liberty Ave was full of Theaters/ or showhouses, that were for adults only.. Our temporary Office was on Liberty Ave..Boy, what a nostalgic look at Pittsburgh Downtown.. Thanks

Happy you spent time in my hometown and got to enjoy the ballpark. Stay longer next time, there are many interesting things to see in the area. Looks like you started something Adam as the Rays are playing their best baseball of the year.
