"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." – Michael Jordan

Funny how after 23 years later this is still rated as the most watched game in NBA history, it's not hard to see why.

This is MJ’s most impressive ring. Unlike 96 & 97 where everyone else stood no chance against them, the 98 bulls were a shell of that. Scottie was rarely healthy, Dennis was not productive for big chunks of the year, the other role players all visibly declined, MJ himself wasn’t getting younger, and the massive internal turmoil within the organization between Krause, Phil, and the players. Yet, they won because they still had Michael Jordan on their team who carried and willed the bulls to this title.
  • 25 years later and this STILL makes me smile......TOTALLY inconsequential in my real life but somehow it provides me joy......Thanks MJ!!!

This 3 minutes does feel like 13 minutes and 45 seconds

MJ really did stop a whole generation of ball players from winning championships & fostered a new generation that wanted to be just like him

Layup, Steal, Stepback, Title The last 39 seconds of this game PERFECTLY sums him up. Has there ever been a series of plays that personified a player any better?

That's the definition of a closer. A textbook, in the clutch, champion. Hands down, thee GOAT, by any metrix.
  • @Sebastian-km9qx
The last three minutes he got: 8 points in total 4 free throws made 2 steals 1 rebound 1 clutch layup AND 1 amazing cross over to put the game away GOAT

Why am I still on the edge of my seat knowing exactly what's going to happen. One of the greatest finals in NBA history.

The real legend. Putting the team on his back, defensively and offensively. A masterpiece!
  • @folarinosibodu
His final shot turned out to be the best and most meaning of his entire career. What a way to go out!
  • Jordan with the lay up, Jordan with free throws, Jordan with the rebound, Jordan with the steal, Jordan with the Game Winner... The man put Chicago on his back...
  • @fyte4luv808
when the jazz fans were waving those balloons to distract jordan's free throws, well... he took it personal

John Stockton: 1st in all time assists Karl Malone: 2nd in all time points The only reason why this epic duo never won anything: Michael Jordan.

These last three minutes of this game feels so much more satisfying after watching the last dance
  • @urekmazino5125
Thats a GOAT right there. Offense and defense. He misses shots, but is not afraid to take the next one. No other player comes close.

I’m glad you posted this. There’s a generation of kids that need to understand how good MJ was and the things he did were inhuman.
