Looking for seashells after a storm is so fun! I was watching the weather for days and couldn't wait to get out there. It wasn’t what I expected, but I’m learning it almost never is.

Thank you all for your amazing help with shells and fish/shark IDs! After so many people weighed in, I'm thinking the sharks are bull sharks and the skull is a drum or black drum fish skull. I mean it when I say you never know what's going to be out there!

Apprentice…no my friend you are the QUEEN of the beach! And we are your loyal followers..thanks for bringing us along..❤

Dear Sharmon, What a wonderful morning at the beach! Seeing those 3 sharks so close to the shore was amazing! I'm so glad that lady told you about them, so you and we could enjoy the sight of them. That little hermit crab was so cute! He really took advantage of you while picking him up. And the shells..... all those paper figs, you've got to love them. 😍 It's always so much fun to see how the shells clean up after you treated them. I had little hope for that true tulip, but it turned out amazing well! Sending you lots of love and, of course, a big hug, xoxo ❤, Ilona

Enjoying a warm spell of -6 deg F in MT right now.... I would've been collecting every paper fig on that beach. Thanks for the virtual beach vibes!

It is - 9 degrees with 24 below wind chill. Your channel makes it warmer for us . Missouri winters are miserable. Great to see progress on s/b island. Stay warm and happy shelling.

I hate to say how envious I am right now of your wonderful beach time as we have 17* and going down a few more degrees, it sleeted first and now snowing. Yes, it’s pretty but I sure would love to be shelling. I’m glad you had a good day on the beach. For all of you inlanders that are getting snow too, hang in there. We’ll be back down to the beaches before too long. Have a great day everyone ! Thanks for sharing your beach time with us !

I love your videos. Your commentary is fantastic. It's so relaxing watching the surf and looking for shells.
  • About 4:00 on Sunday afternoon I start watching the clock in anticipation of your 6:00 beachwalk. Sharmon, You always make me smile. You are so appreciative of all the shells you find.❤

The orange shells..wow! The only thing I want is for your videos to be longer😁🙏
  • So, Sanibel had a storm. I live in the Chicago metro area, we had snow storms Wednesday thru Friday, had about 10 or 11 inches of snow with lots of wind. I am watching this Sunday Night and the temperature is -13 with a windchill of -33. BRRR wish I was in Florida!!!
  • Good evening, dear Beach Angel and all my beach-loving friends! I hope you've had a great week! Here in the mountains of East Tennessee, we're expecting six to eight inches of snow and temps approaching the sibgle digits over the next few days. Brrr! 🥶 Wow! Y'all did get clobbered! I was watching the weather and observed that the wind was pushing water on shore. Hope you remembered that sea horses get pushed way up the beach! Those sharks are so cool! When I was training to be a lifeguard, nearly fifty years ago, we were taught to punch a shark to discourage them. Their skin feels like sandpaper! Fortunately, I never had to do that! You're finding really pretty shells, big ones, too! I'm so happy for you! Oh, Beach Time! I wait all week for the waves which soothe my nerves and whisper their secrets to me. That looks like a gator to me! So glad you made a good haul today, Beach Angel! Those shells really cleaned up well. This always reminds me to clean my shell collection! Much live to all of you! Be blessed as you move forward with your lives. ❤🐚🧜🌹

The sharks made me start humming Jimmy Buffet's "Fins", lol. Great walk along Sanibel and the shelling looked wonderful. I really enjoy these weekly doses of beachy goodness!

Love how the shark eye looked before all of it's lovely delicate decorations were removed. To each their own I guess.

You learned a thing or two and taught me a thing or 200! I know so much more about sea creatures because of you. Thank you! ❤️🐚

😮 my goodness 🦈🦈🦈!!! I've heard sharks can swim in water low as a few inches. Never believed that until now. What a wonderful shot 📸
  • @kathyjund7212

🙋🏼‍♀️ FFC lover! I love the ones with the bright orange, or purple apertures /lip! Honestly if it is in one piece I will find a reason that makes it a keeper! Today is day three living in Fort Myers, can’t wait to get to the beach and start exploring. Made it to Bonita beach for just awhile before it started raining yesterday! Rain or shine this place is heaven on earth! Thank you for the walk!
  • Thoroughly wonderful “get-away” from January blahs up north. Loved seeing the sharks! Thank you ! ❤️
  • @janiebennett5645
Well THAT was a phenomenal day at my old stooping grounds. The sharks were awesome! You gathered quite a load of shells. I'm living my life vicariously through you!! Thanks, as always, Shar, for taking me along. Until Sunday, my beach loving friend.🌇🏖❤
