In June 2014 I spent a week in Wales riding the Narrow Gauge Railways.

This is Part 2a of that epic railway Holiday. A Morning Ride on the Ffestiniog Railway.

My favourite seat is hanging out of the window right behind the loco! Thank you, takes me back to my fondest memories.

Its a great trip if the weather is fine lovely scenery
  • A great video which brings old memories back when as children both my brother and I with our parents back in the 1950's spent our summer holiday staying just down the lane from the crossing outside Minnffordd on Portmaddog side and I helping the lady with the crossing gates apart from taking the train from Portmaddog to the end of the line which in those days was Tanybwlch.CAREY CHESHIRE
  • a brilliant video i havent watched many narrow gauge railway videos you have converted me into this size railway so many thanks for that the train dident even struggle with all those coaches so they are powerfull little engines a big thumbs up from me max
  • Nice piece of video. Particularly like "DLG" in it's grey livery, and shame it didn't last too long. Maybe the next new Fairlie will carry the grey for a while
  • May be the locomotive speed is 60 to 70 kmh.Strong and heavy cocomotive. I am from west Malaysia.
