Harris on Gaza: 'I will not be silent'

Published 2024-07-26
US vice-president Kamala Harris has called for a Gaza ceasefire and the release of hostages.

Her comments came after a "frank and constructive meeting" with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House in which she reiterated her support for Israel's right to defend itself, but said, "how it does so matters.”

She also said “we won’t tell Israel how to handle their war” and “We stand with Israel to defend itself”. This is her trying to gain votes.

So, tldr, slightly more pisturing than biden. But broadly no changes? the fact this is considered exciting. Is so depressing.
  • Does "bring the hostages home" include the Palestinian prisoners/hostages in Israel?

She's as smart as Biden and has to read everything. I want our country back NOW

Does she not realise - the Palestinians have been offered a twomstate solution 7 times and have and still are turning it down. From the river tom the sea means Palestinians only no Jews.

All talk...she won't do a damn thing. The Statesmen will. But, tell me....WHO will stop HAMAS from terrorizing?

She lies!! She commented after this speech that Israel has the right to defend themselves, just saying that comment is enough for me to know where she stands

Don't think Hamas are fighting back and haven't been for sometime now
