the 2nd Gen Syclone project is coming along, and this time we build its engine to prepare it for a new life under the hood of my fastest, best handling, and lightest truck I've built. While I do like the idea of staying original to the syclone concept and doing a turbo V6, I just can't stand how they sound, plus I have an engine that's perfect for my needs.

what do you think the 2nd gen syclone should get for a power adder? Turbo or Supercharger?
  • @mchristr
"i don't like the sound of a V6." Finally, someone said it. This truck is going to haul the mail.

I built my 05 RCSB AWD, 80E, NP149, Turbo 6.0 because of your COPO truck. I also put it all on youtube because i thought your channel was really cool. Thanks for all the inspiration boss.

I want to do this to my Blazer so bad but... life is in the way.

    “It’s my truck and I can name it whatever I want…” 😂 Can’t argue with that 😁

So 3/8 impact wise, ive had a snap on for about 6 years, and it has been nothing but a pain. Replaced once under warranty, "rebuilt" once on my dime, only to get it back with the same problem (they blamed the battery even though it worked in every other tool except that one) and finally, after much back and forth they gave me another one that worked, and its been good for the last 3 years. But if i had it to do over, I'd probably do a Milwaukee, but only after watching the torque test channel to find out if the quality is still up to par.

LT I really enjoy your videos. I always learn something new and I really look forward to watch what you come up with next. Thank you very much for Al you do. PS happy Father’s Day.

I worked in a very large 24 bay shop. Each bay had its own pressure washer. Both hot and cold water. It was so nice being able to steam clean an engine bay before doing any major work. I was the guy that did all the big jobs. Engines, transmissions, clutches. Most of my work was extremely dirty so having a pressure washer on hand, ready to go at the flip of a lever was fantastic. I actually hated working at that shop. It's too bad because it was set up very nicely, money was good, management was the absolute worst i ever encountered working as a mechanic.

Happy father's day to all the dad's on here!
  • Very informative video. I’ll be doing similar with my LS 4.8 here soon. These fine details will really help.

When I was doing bodywork full time I loved my Matco cordless tools. I had the 3 in variable speed polisher, 1/4 impact and a 1/4 ratchet batteries were all interchangeable with each other and they hold a great charge.

Everything you’re doing to the S10 and the 5.3, is everything I want to do to my truck. I have a nearly Identical version of your awd stepside and I’m just barely figuring out what I want to do with it. My truck is a 02 stepside single cab z71. I want roughly 600-700 hp out of the 5.3 in it when I’m done. I have so many plans for it. I am studying your videos so much so I can do everything you’re doing for myself! Thank you so much for making these videos! I know you go all out for your shop and YT! Keep up the amazing work!

LT I've been a fan since the truck show on power nation, It's way cool (and very smart imo) you own and operate your own shop I'm so happy for you! I wish you tons of success and I wish I lived close enough to frequent your establishment. Thanks for making great content
