I wish Volvo would continue to produce the T8 variant by adding some of the features of the newer Ex90 such as a larger battery with a range of 70+ miles with an upgraded more powerful rear electric motor and pass on rear wheel steering, Larger centre screen and 2nd/3rd row seats dropping via buttons. It would be awesome

Nice content! We expecting out xc90 t8 in this colour and rims. All dark theme. In Holland we have also the choiche to make the Volvo emblem the same dark theme as the window lining etc. Thanks !! Nice video’s

In regard to the cameras at night, the latest Volvo update to the Google system seems to have corrected this. I have an XC 60 ultimate and I agree that prior to update 2.13 the cameras at night or unusable. After updating to update, 2.13, the cameras work perfectly.

Great review and detail. Would love to see you review 2024 BMW X5 plug in hybrid (6 cylinder!) and Rivian R1S.

Great review, very clear and detail, helps with my research for my next car - XC90 Ultimate vs SQ7 TDI Vorsprung. Leaning towards the Audi, especially not keen on the single screen in the Volvo that controls everything. Keep up the good review.

Nice review. This is the model I have except in denim blue with 22” wheels. I hear the issue with the cameras going dark at nighttime should be fixed in the 2.13.1 software update. 🎉 Like you, I’ve had a couple of XC90s and not really getting on with the new AAOS system. Some good bits but overall I miss Sensus.
  • Most important question for Volvo - reliablity. Will they be reliable? More than old inline 5/6 cylinders? I dont think so. I looks great, sure thing - but honestly, I dont think I will beat D5 diesel with 500k+ km on board
  • Nice and Bueatiful. Regards from Scandinavia Norway. Question - that area is green background where is that location in US.

Nice Review ...🎉 have driven the xc60 diesel one in Kenya.. the engine is so quiet and fast.. just wondering how quiet the new xc90 would be... fast and no noise... in the xc60 took me about 6 hours where I usually take about 9 hours in a Toyota.. impressive...considering getting myself a volvo... hv compared it to audi.... and I chosen a volvo xc69 or xc90 in the used market ❤

I'm looking to hop on the Volvo wagon when I pick up my first EV
  • I just took delivery of a new XC90 Ultimate Hybrid here in the UK. The so-called 'top of the range' B&W sound system is junk, beware!!! It doesn't come with a fader/balance control so you can't get a stereo picture in the driver position. Overwhelming sound comes out of the speaker to the right of the driver seat and you can't correct it. A system that's supposed to cost thousands, and it lacks the most basic of sound adjustment facilities!! If I could take the damn car back and get a refund I would. My car before this was a Landrover Discovery bought new in 2016, and it had much better overall sound - AND a fader/balance control. Eight years later and Volvo are peddling something technically inferior!?!

Now that the Yamaha V8s are getting long in the tooth, would you recommend a late edition 3.2 XC90...2012-2014? Did those models also have the bad transmissions?

I love my XC90! I have the 2023 B6 Plus trim, black exterior and blond interior. The fuel economy isn’t bad at all but the tech features are a bit ehhh. The vehicle is sturdy and has a very premium feel to it. Even the earlier SPA vehicles hold up very well after 5+ years. At 60 months, I’ll probably sell it and move on to the fully electric EX90. Can’t see myself spending globs of money on something that sort of feels…dated…with questionable reliability
  • Hey did you ever notice the v6 rav 4 has a light thag comes on if you press the brake pedal all the way to the floor like i found out youd normaly never do it put on like a hill hold but it actually works like a trans brake you can rev the motor and it wont try and move until you release it lollll
  • Mazda bro ;) CX80 CX90 - 6 cylinders, even better - 3.3L 6cyl. diesel :)
  • @user-ur8sc2pe5r
It would be nice if only the noise here and there could be resolved.
  • Jezz... 90k$. I can buy small house for that. 90k$ for 2L 4 cylinder - nope, thank you. Review very good though
