Love how the announcers go from "Dickson was scared to run" to "Dickson has 300 IQ"
-
Rule 9, section 1, note 4 on Scrimmage Kicks: A second kick from behind the line of scrimmage is legal provided the ball has not crossed the line and returned behind the line. Great job as always Mike Pereira, sheesh.
-
Bro. Dude killed it. Got blocked and still made a near 70yd punt. Unreal.
-
Mike got this one wrong and still tried to salvage himself with “an new additional rule”, like this has had happened every week.😂
-
Neither announcer knew what the fuck was happening and the dude that the broadcast team pays to be their officiating representative knew even less. Always a great sight to see
-
"Dixon was scared to run. It's coming back." No penalty "Dixon makes an amazing play..."
-
The fact that the announcers went from talking about Dickson being a coward and an idiot for “clearly breaking the rules”, to then finding out that they were completely wrong and just sitting there for a few seconds in awkward silence, to finally praising Dickson for his 300 IQ play😂😂
-
Forget the penalty!! SHOUT OUT TO DICKSON FOR THAT 1 ARM PICKUP! Then the amazing suuupper punt!
-
Having the awareness to track the ball down, picking the ball up while the ball is spinning, and then having the ability to kick the ball 60 yards down field on a dead run is nothing short of amazing.
-
Love it when Buck eats crow after trying to sound like a smart ass
-
Announcers should give 5% of their pay tonight to Dickson's charity of choice.
-
That's one of the advantages of having Aussie punters. Most of them play Aussie Rules and are pretty athletic.
-
I love the back track "there is a new rule the refs don't know....". We'll have to revisit it
-
Shoutout to the AFL for that one handed pickup Dickson displayed. Unbelievable show of athleticism and IQ from a punter.
-
I love that Joe is so wrong
-
I’ll be honest: I kind of assumed it was illegal to punt twice, but without actually knowing the rule, I would never have said that. Also, even if it had been a penalty, I would have called it a smart play, because the other team would basically have to either accept the outcome of the play in order to enforce the penalty, or have them rekick. It prevented a disastrous play where the Rams get the ball in scoring range.
-
Conclusion: Mike is overpaid.
-
Blocked, punted again for 68 yards AND he puts it inside the 20? Ridiculous. That guy is the best punter in the league.
-
Only a guy who didn't grow up watching American football would have even THOUGHT to do this! Amazing.
