Rest in peace Archie, but this is why the doctors all said he would not survive without life support and why they all said he should not be moved I don't mean to be harsh, but now we can stop with the rolling coverage from the media. As a father of a 10-year-old daughter, if I was put in this position, I would prefer to spend my time with my dying daughter than in front of the cameras

The hospital made the right call in withdrawing life support.
  • As heartbreaking as this is, to say that it is barbaric is an insult to the nurses who worked tirelessly with the family . The poor boys brain stem was dead he would never have woken up. An awful situation but the correct thing to be done. Unimaginable

Rest in peace little one, my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

All the doctors said he is brain stem dead and all the courts have made their rulings. So stop making it into a media spectacle. It should be a private family matter.
  • @hg82met
Why are they still on TV? Just take the time and privacy to grieve, rather than plastering his and your faces on TV every 15 min.

Let's spare some thoughts and give some credit to the doctors who treated archie as well

Why do a interview so soon 😐
  • Whatever happened that day, he and his family didn’t have to suffer these weeks of protracted court battles. Shame on the so-called-religious freedom groups who pushed the family in that direction
  • Still they appear in front of the cameras - at a time such as this ! Anyone else would be grieving in private.

There are no words 💔 Heartbreaking. Poor little boy 💔

RIP archie, I don't like the fact they went straight to doing a interview just over a hour after he's died.
  • @yopretz
Rest In Peace Archie. My condolences to the family.
  • Very sad. However the fact that he 'died' 2hrs 15mins after all intensive care machines were shut off, proves that the Courts/doctors were right I appreciate that the family are grieving but to complain that Archie went blue after the machine were put off is VERY irritating - did they just want him to be given an injection and be put to sleep!!

I’m so sorry that it came to this.I as a father had to do the same thing.it hurts so bad the little man had the world in front of him.but God had something better in store him.

He died a long time ago, these parents were just being selfish. When the brain dies the person is gone. This happened to my little sister. My parents made the difficult decision to let her go and they were right. It's sad and tragic but life goes on.
  • Omg the whole thing is horrific,I have a 12 year old boy,I just can't get my head round it at all,it's too heartbreaking for words, rip beautiful boy❤️😭
  • My heart is breaking for the family. The NHS done all they could to save his life But the fact of the matter is He had zero chance of survival as he was Brain stem dead. The family are grieving I get that but they should be thanking our NHS instead of criticising. It’s disheartening for all the doctors and nurses doing a fantastic job under difficult circumstances. I don’t mean to sound harsh. Rest in peace Archie.
  • If he was "fighting", they'd keep the support up. In time, peace will come to them. Archie has been at peace
  • She says no family should have to go through this... It happens all the time.. I had to watch them turn my sisters life support off.. This is not a rare situation it happens all the time... Only we decided my sister needed peace I can't even fault the hospital they do everything they can to save people unfortunately not everyone can be saved
