Yes to the honey and oatmeal facial scrub. When I was in my 20’s a long time ago🙄… like in the 70’s … I would do those facials. My skin looked so radiant and I always😮 moisturized and used sunscreen. I still get compliments on how youthful I look for being 68. I also ate healthy and loved biking, swimming and yoga. It really pays off to take care of yourself if you want to live a healthy and active life well into your old age
  • I love how Lolita showed how sleep is her best self-care habit 💕 such a queen👑

Thank you! 😊 I add ginger and cinnamon to my drinks to help with inflammation plus made herbal infused honeys over the summer that I use to sweeten my medicinal drinks in winter. Today’s tea is orange with ginger, lemon honey and my morning coffee had a cinnamon lemon ginger ice ball added too. I make my on skin products, but recently I was surprised that I had to explain to older relatives how to use the products I made for their holiday gifts for skin care. I gifts lip balm, body butter, sugar scrub, etc. but next time they said I should include instructions. ❤

Hello Eugenia, esthetician here...La Roche Posey has great sunblocks, French brand and I think I saw it at a pharmacy in Acores. Pretty sure you can find in Lisboa. Hydrosol's are great, no need to use cotton after applying, spray and leave on. Most quality skin care brands have a oil product. Oils are great, I use many different ones. One product that I love is also a French line, it's called Caudalie. We used this line at a spa in California where I used to work. It's higher end and they have great serums. The line is based on resveratrol, grape seed extract. The only Herbivore products I've tried were their bath salts and milk powder, both were very nice. Love watching your channel and your home build channel as well. 🥰

You inspired me so much to dare myself to be bold but honest,☺☺ to be looking for new friends who match my vibe, to become honored to become their friends, in this attention economy and hustle culture I cherish being me, a little crazy a little shy totally introvert but loving to slow down, take my sweet time to breathe and reflect, enjoy my moments and become intentional with my day to day routine Thank you

I smiled when you talked about cotton you got from East Texas. My Grandfather was a cotton farmer here in Central Texas. He showed me 5 toe and 6 toe cotton boles. He took me to the cotton gin during the picking season. There is a major process to growing it on a large scale. For cotton to be to be picked by machine, herbicide is sprayed from a low flying airplane to ‘kill’ the plant so the boles can be separated off the plant easily. You brought back fond memories of that time. 😊😊😊

I love how your cat joined your spa day, so cute! I have combination skin and live in a tropical/humid environment. But I like to use a ghassoul clay mask once a week and argan oil everyday. And I just wash my face with water. But the rest of my skin sometimes does get really dry, I think because my water is really hard. I like that brown sugar coconut oil scrub. I remember years ago someone gifted me a homemade scrub that smelled so good with some body cream that also smelled delicious.

This ws so lovely. I've been doing something very similar. We spent the whole of last year setting up on our homestead and I hardly took any time for myself. I want to make more time for me this year - some soft, feminine time. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
