Mini boss checkpoints are a very welcome addition to the series. The Valkyries in the first game had me to the point where several weeks after getting the platinum trophy my finger still had nerve damage from hammering on L1 to activate the Runic abilities fast enough to not get wrecked only to lose and have to start the whole fight over again

I got 206HP, 255 strength and 547 defense, and I can’t take her lifebar down… on Story Mode. No kidding. 😂 She can’t hurts me that much too.
