Thank you so much for sharing your story! It gives me hope that our society IS making progress - what your classmates did... how they did it. That gives me hope. And I pray that if that happens to anyone else anywhere... one or two voices will shout out and stand up for those who can't speak. Thank you!

I am all too familiar with the upbringing you have described, and am so pleased you appear to have successfully transcended the worst of it , holding on to the best I hope! Does it get better? It depends.... Like Lance Bass for example, he bullied the weakling in high school and bash gays. For some reason, his life got even better and unfair for others. Unfortunately, the truth is......sightly few gays are not so lucky, but most gay will make it.
